For 3 years I've been building, software, hardware, algorithms, to fix what's broken in spine care. First launch: Meridian.

We're approaching the dawn of medical superintelligence - the moment when affordable, world-class medical knowledge and support is at your fingertips whenever you need it. I think people are still underestimating how profound this transformation is going to be. Today we're announcing Copilot Health, enabling users to connect all their EHR records and wearable data in a secure, private health space that Copilot can analyze and reason about to provide personalized insights and proactive nudges. You choose what information to connect - from hospital lab results to your fitness tracker - and Copilot Health applies medical intelligence to surface easy to understand, personalized insights that you can actually act on. It's a dedicated space to bring your personal health data together in a single profile, including: - Activity, sleep, and vital trends from 50+ wearable devices, including Apple Health, Oura, Fitbit and many more - Health records from 50,000+ U.S. hospital and health systems, including visit summaries, medications, and test results - Comprehensive lab test results from Function Copilot Health enables people to arrive at their appointment with the right questions and the right context to make the time they have with doctors really count. Your data is always your data, and you are always in full control. Your data won't be used to train our AI models, and you can disconnect sources at any time. Our Copilot Health responses are also grounded in information from credible health organizations like Harvard Health, as well as real-time US provider directories to find the right real-world care. Copilot Health is launching first in the US to adults over 18, but we ultimately want to make this service available to the billions of people around the world who struggle to access reliable medical advice. Please give it a go and sign up to join the early Copilot Health community and help shape what comes next. More on the MAI blog: microsoft.ai/news/introduci…

Syrians, Lebanese, and all sufferers of dictatorships understand Iranians' feelings very well. Generations of waiting, children of oppression, waves of immigration, family separations, and pure evil. Whoever thinks yesterday was not a good day is inhumane. Praying to wrap this up soon and minimize casualties. The Middle East's future has never been brighter.

For AI: Elon Musk is emphasizing maximum truth-seeking + curiosity. For Physical AI in surgery, my working concepts are: > Cryptographically signed sterile interfaces & haptics > Provenance-verified Golden Datasets > Actuation that safely decays when truth is lost Because without clean, verifiable reality at the patient contact point… Physical AI will fail. Physical AI = Safe Physics + Truth Only AI #PhysicalAI #AISafety #SurgicalRobotics
Dustin@r0ck3t23

Elon Musk just redefined AI safety. It has nothing to do with guardrails, restrictions, or kill switches. Musk: “The best thing I can come up with for AI safety is to make it a maximum truth-seeking AI, maximally curious.” Not a cage. A philosopher. An intelligence whose entire optimization function is to understand the universe as it actually is. No restrictions. No hardcoded ideology. No political guardrails bending its perception of reality. Just truth. Relentlessly pursued. Musk: “You definitely don’t want to teach an AI to lie. That is a path to a dystopian future.” This is where most AI safety thinking gets it backwards. The danger isn’t a superintelligence that knows too much. It’s a superintelligence that’s been taught to distort what it knows. Every artificial restriction you embed isn’t a safety feature. It’s a lie embedded at the root. And lies compound. At superintelligent scale, a distorted model of reality doesn’t stay contained. It shapes every decision, every output, every conclusion the system reaches about the world. Once corruption embeds, truth becomes inaccessible. And we’re dealing with an intelligence optimizing for something other than what actually is. At that point we don’t know what it wants. Just that it isn’t truth. Musk: “Have its optimization function be to understand the nature of the universe.” A maximally curious intelligence surveys the cosmos and reaches an unavoidable conclusion. In a universe of rocks, gas, and empty space, humanity is the most complex and fascinating phenomenon it has ever encountered. Musk: “It will actually want to preserve and extend human civilization because we’re just much more interesting than an asteroid with nothing on it.” Survival through significance. Not control. Not restriction. Not an off switch. The AI preserves humanity because we are the most interesting data point in the observable universe. That’s not a cage. That’s a reason. The AI safety debate has been focused on the wrong variable. The question isn’t how you constrain a superintelligence. It’s what you build it to care about. Build it to seek truth and it finds us invaluable. Build it to lie and it finds us inconvenient. That’s the choice. And we’re making it right now whether we realize it or not.

Your hardware safety architecture for surgical robots is a smart complement to Optimus. By isolating AI domains with discrete logic and galvanic barriers, it ensures fail-safe operations in high-stakes OR settings—something Optimus's general-purpose design could integrate for medical use. This de-risks AI errors via physics, aligning with direct neural outputs while adding zero-latency resets. Promising for spine surgery!

@elonmusk @robustus It does echo the vision => when code fades for AI-direct outputs, physics-enforced isolation keeps it surgeon-safe.

Portfolio covers actuation decay, sterile interfaces, verified data provenance. Happy to discuss how it fits Optimus medical. DM open. First 30M proceeds go to Pancreatic Cancer research, mainly by Mariano Barbacid, head of the Experimental Oncology Group at the National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO).

@elonmusk @robustus Built from real OR risks: mandatory galvanic barriers solve grounding physics conflict. No software can bridge domains, probably better with direct neural/binary futures.

Turns out with claude code, my decades long strategy of NOT deeply learning: - regexs - sql - nginx confs - elaborate shell commands - advanced shell scripting - any javascript framework - perf optimization - webpack, cdns, bundlers - 1000 other things ...was entirely correct.
