Matt Reeves in 9 years: -Cloverfield -Let me In -Dawn of Planet of the Apes -War for the Planet of of the Apes Stop trying to make art into a competition. It’s annoying and insufferable. Not every director works at the pace you want them to and neither can you expect consistency for the amount of time it takes. This goes for all directors not just Matt Reeves. Art is not a god damn dick measuring contest. You’ll get it when it’s ready. The only thing we should judge is if that art was good or not.
