Sure - I’m fine with vet presence. Teams usually sign vets on July 1st to short term deals and then flip them at the deadline. I’m cool with that If a team is willing to trade a package for JT Miller that includes getting the 1st you traded for him, you pull it I would be fine giving Radko Gudas a 2 year, $5M AAV to some mentoring on July 1st or Boone Jenner

@NYRLouie I'm good dealing anyone, Miller included, but this point you're making doesn't stand to reason. There's actually a ton of reason to keep a 32yo center through a retool. Even a rebuild. Young guys need reliable veterans to help them become pros.

I am 100% on board with the Rangers tearing this thing down… I want a fresh start, even if it means some tough years …but if Drury is going to keep everyone else besides Panarin, you might as well extend Panarin… There’s no world where you trade Panarin and maybe a Soucy, keep everyone else and are competitive next season. The only different maker on July 1st… IS PANARIN!! If your going to commit to being bad by trading Panarin, you have to take calls on EVERY SINGLE RANGER #NYR
