Any grapevine growers out there know what is up with my grapes? Not sure if it is mildew or botrytis or heat/drought stress (although assuming the former). I do have black blotches over the stems which I assume is mildew related

@spskelton I had to read the last sentence 4 or 5 times before it made sense to me...wondered what on earth terrorists had to do with wine! Clearly need to swot up on my wine lingo

Some corrections. It’s not the first PDO. We already have 3. England, Wales and Darnibole. Woodchurch vineyard does not straddle the Kent/East Sussex border. Apart from that it seems fairly accurate!!

@Tony_Milanowski I didn't realise that so have learnt something new today...I found 72mm on the bottle. One bottle is 55mm and the other is 110mm. I will get in touch with the producer and see what they think

@BathVines neither looks correct. You will usually find the actual fill level written at the bottom of the bottle. Typically 60-90mm

Not paid much attention to fill levels on sparkling wine before, probably because 99% are covered in foil. These two ESW (same brand, diff styles, no foil) have a 6cm difference in fill level; is this within the margins of error or has someone forgotten to top up?

@sixatmospheres I did wonder but good to get your view on it...almost looks like it has been disgorged and not topped up
