@Delta I am appalled at the abdication of responsibility for an individual who was in your care. I am fortunate to be an able-bodied English speaker, I shudder to think how others who don't fit that description would have coped left to their own devices in a foreign country.

@Delta I was delayed in my Atlanta to Tampa flight today. The plane needed a tyre changed then after we boarded the plane we were told it had to undergo maintenance and we disembarked. We left so late I missed my connection to London tonight and the next flight is tomorrow eve 1/

In unsurprising news... @lismorewine is a brilliant host and total legend. Perhaps more insightful info... her '20 Estate Chard is nothing short of ridiculously good. Haven't had a SA Chard epiphany that big in years. Buy!!

I turned 40 yesterday, and celebrated over the weekend with so many great friends, family and wines including wines from the four decades of my life... 82, 92, 02, 12. Obviously #EnglishWine featured strongly too, including @Nyetimber 92, @__H_R__ and @AlburyVineyard 12.

Great to catch up with the man that helped kick off my wine journey, @RobbiePriddle. I think we first met over a glass of @RKershawWines Chardonnay at an @NakedWines tasting. And we've shared the epic @Nyetimber BdB 92 once before. Hugely value your friendship & generosity mate.

Blue skies and sun, has the spring finally arrived? Today I revised one of my favourite #EnglishSparkling Rosé of last year, @BalfourWinery Saignée Rosé 2018 and paired with a duo of tasty homemade pizzas. Yum, I just can't get enough of this wine!

Back tasting blind with @BlindFaithWine Season 4... round one was one of the hardest rounds I can recall. Well, at least it was to me 😆😵‍💫

Screwcap v Cork continued… Cork - Higher stakes - risk/reward…reward won the day Screwcap - Rise of the food technicians. Older wines definitely had that after the ‘Best Before Date’ taint.

It was great to put my blind tasting practice (thanks @BlindFaithWine) to test at @DanburyRidge for a rather epic international Pinot Noir tasting with the Danbury team, Matt @grapebritannia and @atkinson_mw. I brought along @Begude Capella Pinot Noir.

It was a pleasure to be back at @DanburyRidge to taste some the hotly anticipated 2020 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, as well as an exclusive preview of the outstanding #EnglishSparkling that will be coming in a year or two. It was perfect to toast to winemaker Liam's 40th birthday!
