One check for 3 years of missed credits People have gotten $15-30K checks just by amending old returns with credits they didn't know about How to check what you missed: 1. Get your IRS transcript (free at IRS. gov) 2. Use FreeTaxUSA or similar to re-run old years 3. See if credits were missed 4. File Form 1040-X to amend 5. Wait 8-12 weeks for your check The IRS isn't going to call you and say "hey, you forgot to claim $7,000" They're counting on you not knowing
