Not sure it means anything, but it feels like there's a strong correlation between the Jazz fans that want DP over anyone including AJ, and those who really wanted Cam Whitmore in 2023.

@jjohnnyutah @JeffBiesinger Don’t let your Utah fandom taint your view. This kid can get anywhere he wants into the paint with the ball and has good vision, and of course athleticism. Extremely hard worker. His only weakness is his three point shot and most of that is arc and can be worked on.

@jayjazz3 @jazzman400 Yah but Peterson only averaged 2 apg at Kansas which is bad for a guard even if you think it was scheme related. No reason to trade Keyonte. Hes good and if he takes another jump could be an allstar. He does need to shoot a little better from3.

@jazzman400 Peterson averaged 7 assists a game playing PG his senior yr in HS & Dybantsa averaged 4 a game last yr which he could easily bump up in a OG role. It’s definitely a weak point but I think with the size of that lineup & the way Hardy gets guys moving the ball it’d be worth trying

Here’s another thought exercise. Some that I follow are losing their mind at the thought of Ace coming off the bench. What do guys think about about running a jumbo lineup of PG Dybantsa/Peterson SG Bailey SF Markkanen PF JJJ C Kessler And moving Key to somewhere like MIN for

@ZP12Hoops Playmaking was more related to scheme/health than ability for DP imo.

Concerns that I do have with the top-3: AJ - very poor defender at BYU, not a great 3PT shooter and the shot is a bit flat. DP - the playmaking was not there at Kansas and he looked noticeably less bursty at Kansas. Booz -

If they were willing to take DP instead and trade the pick they’d probably start with asking of Ace Bailey and picks. They have leverage. Doubt Jazz consider any trade for Ace.
