Well it just feels to me these last two games have been a massive disappointment from an England perspective. Japan are certainly no mugs but we were second best in most areas tonight. Hardly confidence enducing. Don't understand the Foden experiment at all.

Rashford and Maguire did well. Palmer looked lively when he came on. Apart from that Tuchel wouldn't have learned much from tonight, apart from the fact the ref was totally inept. You cannot 'rescind' a second yellow.and allowed Uruguay to get away with some shocking tackles.
