@DungeonNoir Gene Simmons of KISS claimed he invented it, admitted he was inspired by the Spider-Man web shooting gesture, & tried to trademark it. It can be seen on the cover of 1977 KISS album, Love Gun. My money is on Dio, who has been called “The nicest guy in metal” #DioRules 🤘🤘

The "horned sign" is an ancient hand gesture meant to either ward off, or curse someone with, the "evil eye", or malocchio in Italian. Dio re-popularized the gesture as the "sign of the horns" in Black Sabbath in 1979, having originally learned it from his grandmother.

@Lutra_Gaming @RTalsorianGames In Battlelords we're 266 years ahead of 2020. There are aliens & the tech more advanced, but fending off killer cyborgs in an urban cityscape to protect your ward is still fun. You have handheld weapons that can crush 21st century tanks & armor that could take a hit from one.

@SandyofCthulhu His plan was to transform world leaders into mutants because if they became that which they feared, they'd maybe change their tune about mutants. He didn't know the machine kills you after a few days

The first X-Man movie almost made me stroke out with its inability to see itself. A major plot point was that the human government was evil because they wanted to limit and imprison the mutants. Then Magneto set up a device which would literally kill millions of people. The X-Men stopped him proving their worth. Except - didn’t Magneto’s plot absolutely prove the correct nature of the human fear? It was indeed a mutant menace. They would have better defended the “mutants can be good” idea if the X-Men had saved millions from a non-mutant threat, showing their worth. Or if the human argument had been instead that “all mutants are bad”because the X-Men would have proven that untrue. But they didn’t

@Lutra_Gaming 1st fan letter I wrote was to Kevin Siembieda. Told him how much I liked the game and to point out inconsistencies with the show (I was young). He sent me a tshirt! Reminded him about it a few years ago. He said, “Must have been a long time ago. Haven’t done that in decades.”
