@SynthPotato 30 fps on a 14" monitor looked fine. 30 fps on a 75" screen does not. Because, size. 🤷‍♂️

Seriously though why does this happen? Did something in screens change or did we just get too used to 60FPS+ that 30fps looks so laggy now?

it only happens because of the terrible 1% lows, not because of 30fps. 30fps is still fine and completely playable for a smooth experience. most people dont realize how important it is to keep the 1% lows stable. no matter how much fps you are getting, the game wont be smooth if 1% lows are inconsistent.

@SinSationsz @dictator_jii I’d even argue some action games at 30fps still feel good to play to date. Destiny 1 is a good example! But yeah I can see the argument for people seeing big difference in the action games for sure

@Batz1993 @dictator_jii No people would very much notice. if you’ve experienced higher FPS than 60fps even going back to feels sluggish and awful. The higher the frame rate the smoother the gameplay which is quite literally proven to be true. Idk why you don’t want games to be fluid and be a choppy mess

@SinSationsz @dictator_jii You do realize a stable 30 fps on a small non action game majority of people wouldn’t even know it’s at 30fps! Now for action games they should be high fps possible

@Batz1993 @dictator_jii We’re at the day in age where modern day computers can get 200 FPS in modern video games. The problem is fluidity a computer than can run 200 FPS max settings locked to 30 fps will cause stutters and problems as the machine clearly has more power to be utilized. 60 is minimum.
