A bottle of water costs $7.99 at a Chicago Cubs game.

IMO Nike’s stock is tanking, and it’s easy to see why. They’re constantly recycling the same designs every few years, jacking up prices while using cheaper materials and delivering poor quality control. The best and most desirable products are usually Player Exclusives (PEs) that the general public never gets to see or buy. Nike just isn’t what it used to be. They’ve taken away creative control from the artists, players, and designers. A lot of talented people who want full freedom to create their own shoes are now turning to New Balance or Adidas. At this point, Nike’s approach just looks like bad business—and it’s not hard to tell.
