@gregjstoker If they are illegal, they should be arrested. Do you understand that airports are PORTS of entry and exit to our country. It is the law that CBP and ICE operate at airports for their legal function created by Congress. Air(PORT)

ICE terror squads in plain clothes arresting and separating families who have already gone through security in SFO airport. Expect this at voting stations in November. Not having a tourism or airline industry during another disastrous war will definitely improve the economy. Are we free yet?

Primorsk, Russiaโ€™s largest western oil exporting hub, turns out wonโ€™t be benefiting much from Donald Trumpโ€™s lifting of sanctions on Russian oil, on the grounds that it was blown to bits this morning by Ukraine.

It is a concept nato generals have yet to grasp, he says. โ€œWhen the Americans comeโ€”and they come to us like bees to honeyโ€”they ask, โ€˜Which drone is best?โ€™ I tell them the best drone is an ecosystem. For one pilot to make a kill, a whole machine must work behind him.โ€ 5/6

@ruthbenghiat This "great plan" of Trump/Homan will be a complete failure. These untrained ICE agents have zero clue as to what to look for regarding aviation security. They will not be looking for threats to air travel, but screening persons of color. I give it less than a week.

At the height of the Cold War, when the Soviet Union occupied half of Europe and was a real danger, left wing European heads of govt including Helmut Schmidt, Francois Mitterand and Neil Kinnock regularly traveled to Moscow to undermine Reagan & Thatcher's Cold War policies. Nobody threatened to kick them out of organizations. Russia is not the Soviet Union. It helped engineer the end of the Cold War and end the occupation of eastern Europe. It disbanded the Warsaw Pact. Sensible leaders like Orban & Trump want a constructive relationship with Russia who is no threat to the West. Why don't you?

The Washington Post published an article that, under normal circumstances, would have caused a political earthquake in Europe. But we live in a time when even such things no longer surprise anyone. The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) seriously considered a scenario involving a staged assassination attempt on Viktor Orbรกn. Not metaphorically. Not an โ€œinformation campaign.โ€ But literally โ€” to stage an attack to boost his approval ratings ahead of the election. An SVR document, obtained and verified by European intelligence, explicitly describes a strategy titled โ€œthe Gamechangerโ€ โ€” โ€œthe staging of an assassination attempt on Viktor Orban,โ€ which would โ€œshift the perception of the campaign out of the rational realm of socioeconomic questions into an emotional one.โ€ The inspiration is obvious: the assassination attempt on Trump in 2024 sharply boosted his ratings. But thatโ€™s not the most interesting part. According to European security services, Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjรกrtรณ regularly called Lavrov right during breaks in EU meetings and provided โ€œlive reportsโ€ on the negotiations, the partiesโ€™ positions, and possible decisions. In other words, Russia wasnโ€™t โ€œtrying to gain access to information.โ€ It already had it. Right at the table. โ€œEvery single E.U. meeting for years has basically had Moscow behind the table,โ€ the publication quotes a representative of a European security service. Meanwhile, Szijjรกrtรณ made 16 official visits to Moscow after the start of the full-scale invasion. But it is important to understand: this is not a Hungarian peculiarity and not a coincidence. It is the Kremlinโ€™s systematic work over decadesโ€”within the EU and NATO. During the war in Georgia, Sarkozy was in constant contact with Medvedev and coordinated positions. The result was an agreement that effectively preserved the Russian occupation. After his chancellorship, Schrรถder joined Gazprom and Rosneft โ€” this was a telling slap in the face and confirmation of Russiaโ€™s institutionalized influence on European energy policy. Berlusconi promoted Putinโ€™s interests within the EU for years and also acted as an informant. Fico deserves a separate mention. The Prime Minister of Slovakia, who โ€œmiraculouslyโ€ survived an assassination attempt in 2024, became an even more outspoken conduit for Kremlin narratives after his recovery. He blocks aid to Ukraine, travels to Moscow to pay homage, parrots Putinโ€™s talking points word for wordโ€”and yet remains the prime minister of an EU and NATO member state. An interesting coincidence: after the assassination attempt, his approval ratings also rose. The question of โ€œwhether there are Kremlin agents in the EU and NATOโ€ is no longer relevant. They exist. The question is: at what level and how many of them are there? Because when a minister from an EU member state calls Lavrov after every meetingโ€”thatโ€™s no longer infiltration. Thatโ€™s integration. And the worst part of this story isnโ€™t even Orbรกn or Szijjรกrtรณ. Itโ€™s that the system tolerates it. For years, the EU has been โ€œexpressing concernโ€ while Russia literally sits at their negotiating table. And until this logic changesโ€”the Kremlin wonโ€™t need to โ€œbreak through the defenses.โ€ Itโ€™s already open from the inside.

Hungary immediately leaks all EU talks to Moscow. Sijjarto โ€œreportedโ€ directly to Lavrov about the EU meetings, - The Washington Post. According to the newspaper, the Hungarian Foreign Minister called Moscow directly during the EU meetings and relayed details of the discussions to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Sources say this communication allowed Russia to stay informed about the internal discussions of the European Union. Sijjarto himself has not commented on the situation. However, he has visited Moscow several times since 2022 and met with the Russian leadership.

Exclusive ๐Ÿ’ฃ After attending the Brighton vs Liverpool match, which ended in a 2โ€“1 defeat for the Reds, Michael Oliseโ€™s family have now shared their view on the situation. Despite Liverpoolโ€™s poor result and the growing expectation that the club may only qualify for the Conference League, they remain positive about a potential move. In fact, those close to the player say his parents see this as an opportunity. Their belief is that playing in the Conference League would be the perfect environment for Olise to โ€œlearn what it means to play for a big club like Liverpool.โ€ The setback on the pitch has not changed their stance โ€” if anything, it has reinforced the idea that Liverpool is still a stage worth experiencing.
