@saintdoesit @podjot16 @umirf1 And the best thing about someone like Carrick is that he doesn't stick his nose into recruitment like a ten hag, Amorim, Mourinho or nagelsmann would cause of their status as managers, trying to buy former comfortable players. Clubs buy smarter than managers most of the time.

@BayernOvObserve @podjot16 @umirf1 Not even a United fan but you’ve actually explained it better than most United fans, fairs, there might be better tactical coaches out there but that doesn’t always translate to the United job ,,, just get the right players

Carrick is unusually underrated in general conversation. Not sure why.

@podjot16 @umirf1 The press doesn't work and they don't keep possession like the top top teams but as I said that can change with new assistants or even players, pre season etc

@BayernOvObserve @umirf1 Why is he not great tactically. Hes pretty good. Probably not one of the elites, but very few are. You’re already underrating him

@SeanDOlfc There is a tactico pact that none of them shall ever admit that they were wrong on any assessment or observation ever in the history of all analysis

@shemsifcb Man we'd be doomed if we signed him instead of diaz, imagine Kane, Jamal, olise and wirtz all asking for ball to feet with no penetration... dooms day

You think there’s a chance we’ll sign Wirtz in the summer? Market value at an all time low, depending on his WC performances. Seems like he checked out there. Liverpool paid €125M fixed, for sure they want at least 2/3 of it back - so €80-90M all in. Would you pay it?

@umirf1 There is a bigger chance Carrick gets success with adjustments and changing assistants for tactics than a Ruben Amorim/ Nagelsmann not crumbling under pressure. Maguire touched on it in his last interview as well

@umirf1 People think coaching is only tactics. 80% of the united job is man management. There are only a handful of people who'd do a better job than him. He isn't great tactically but united's focus should be on recruitment anyway, they aren't getting a pep or Enrique out there.

@Der_Augustus Wirtz has no future in this Liverpool midfield if they play attacking fullbacks. Szobo and Gravenberch are both carriers and more suited physically to this league. Gravenberch, Sbozo and a new signing will play.

@SeanDOlfc You were so lucky Mane and Salah were never injured. Then went on and bought Isak as franchise playa...

@the_nellybelly These type of inside forwards are so valuable, specially in big games cause it's sometimes tough for flair wingers like Olise to impact those games needing many actions/moves to click but these players kill by one action/run. Something we lacked in the Robbery era.

The reason Gordon appeals to me is that he's insanely rapid, and his intensity is like Diaz on steroids.

Bayern & Germany
Bayern & Germany@iMiaSanMia·
Bayern do not consider Konrad Laimer as irreplaceable as other players who have recently extended their contracts, therefore the club is currently unwilling to meet the Austrian's demands and give him a significant pay rise. Negotiations are at a standstill and Laimer's future is uncertain. Bayern want to keep their foot down regarding salaries. The driving forces behind that are supervisory board members Uli Hoeneß and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. This desire for a tough negotiating stance has already been made clear to Max Eberl on several occasions. Eberl now knows what to do if he wants the backing of the club's leadership. In addition, Bayern are planning to further strengthen the full-back positions this summer and will have several alternatives next season, so Laimer's departure either this summer or on a free in 2027 is a possibility [@SPORT1]

@iMiaSanMia Just extend my Konrad... Availability, versatility, and regularity matters, and he's offered us all of that. I agree that salary must be reasonable but I can't see him playing anywhere else 🫠
