Jamal Musiala: - Our best player in 22/23 - Our second best after Kane in 23/24 - Our best player in 24/25 and we relied on him for everything (even Kroos said this) Then he got very badly injured and everybody seems to forget.. but he’ll be back.

Referee, parking the bus and 100% effenciency in the box made PSG win. But not the midfield.

There are many players at FC Bayern Munich receiving the spotlight this season.
The attackers.
The goalscorers.
The difference makers in the final third.
And because of that, one player’s development has quietly gone under the radar a little.
Dayot Upamecano.
What a step forward he has made this season.
Especially in possession, his evolution has been outstanding to watch.
The way he starts attacks from deep is genuinely elite level.
Whether it is vertical line-breaking passes through pressure, progressive carries into midfield, or simply his calmness when building from the back, he has become such an important part of Bayern’s structure.
There is far more control and maturity in his game now.
More composure.
Better decision-making.
More authority.
And physically, he remains one of the most dominant defenders around.
Strong in duels.
Aggressive against the ball.
Quick across large spaces.
But what impressed me most this season is how much responsibility he has taken during build-up phases.
He is not just defending transitions.
He is shaping attacks.
One of the best centre-back performances of the season for me.
