I'd push back on this and say that trading memes are a transferable skill. It forces you to risk capital to understand attention, incentives, and culture in real time. That's not nothing. Obviously you'll need to layer other skills on top depending on where you want to go but the foundation is there. The best thing you can do right now is write about your trades. - Why you took them - How you read the market - What patterns kept showing up Going through this process helps you build pattern recognition. This meme game was ALWAYS about converting shitcoins into real money. Stables and BTC. This is the same as previous games like alt coins when I started 8 years ago. Then I started trading DeFi, memes, NFTs, algo ponzis, etc. There will always be a next game. Maybe it's not memes but if you had any real success in these markets then you built the pattern recognition to spot it early. The markets will be here and there will be something else to trade. And if you're in this space, then during the downtime you need to be doing something else. Writing, working at a crypto company, anything that stops you from bleeding your port down. If you're already at zero. Build income another way. Work as a social media intern at a crypto startup, do modding, write, market analysis. Whatever you gotta do to surive until the next euphoria cycle.
