O Lord, If I have not perfected my supplication, You know my needs best. If I fell short, You know my hopes. Nothing is hidden from You.

Ya Allah, if my delays are due to evil eyes, envy, jealousy, or just unseen barriers, please kindly remove them. You're Al-Fattah the opener of all doors, and you never delay our duas without a reason, and you DON'T deny without replacing it with something better.

Dear Allah, thank you for this beautiful life, and forgive me for everything that I have done wrong. Ameen 🤲.

Allahumma bika ‘asbahnaa, wa bika ‘amsaynaa, wa bika nahyaa, wa bika namootu wa ilaykan-nushoor!

Oh Allah, remove wicked people from our lives.

Heal me on the Day of Arafah, Ya Allah. Heal me so deeply that even my memories stop hurting. Replace the tears in my eyes with light in my heart. Make me forget the words that wounded me and remember only that You are enough for me.

Ya Allah, Thank you for the good days… and the bad days too.

Astaghfirullah

Alhamdulillah for another day above the Earth’s surface 🙏

Ya Allah! My heart trembles as these blessed days dawn upon me. The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah — the days You have sworn by in Your Majestic Book, the days You have made greater than any other in Your sight.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Your Lord is shy and generous, and when His servant raises his hands to Him in du'a (supplication), He is too shy to send them back empty." (Sunan Abi Dawud 1488, Sunan at-Tirmidhi 3556, graded sahih). Think about what that means. Allah is shy to refuse you. We are the ones who hesitate to ask. Raise your hands tonight and ask for the things you have been quietly wanting for years.

“O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both.” — Quran, 4:135

Imagine yourself at the time of death. The thoughts that will cross your mind. Memories of family and friends. The feeling of regrets. The time wasted. The world that you indulged in will flash before you and it will remind you of how quick passing and delusional it is. Now, imagine spending it in righteousness.

“Desires make slaves out of kings and patience makes kings out of slaves.”

Be a wealthy Muslim. Retire your parents. Fund someone’s Umrah trip. Build Masajid. Sponsor orphans. Fund Dawah. Wealth isn’t evil. Wealth is what will move the ummah forward.
