Breaking news on the Lighter JP AMA: > Vlad explained that when he previously said “Christmas,” he wasn’t referring to Christmas Day itself, but to the broader holiday season. And the whole idea that the TGE would happen in 2025 - was basically built off Vlad’s words So yeah, this sounds like a hint that the TGE could be in 2026. Other AMA details: - Universal cross-margin is planned to be enabled in the future - On whether tokenomics will be published before TGE: he said he can’t share many details about TGE yet, but there should be an announcement within the next few weeks that covers this - On launching a meme coin: he said it could happen depending on community sentiment. From the tone and past leaks, it still feels likely this would be around next month - Next spot market: expected to launch next week, and they plan to keep adding more spot markets after that - Using Devin in development: Lighter doesn’t use AI much for complex backend work, but they do use Devin for frontend, and especially for marketing

@bitcoinduke im not even guessing what tokenomics will be. Vlad said that tokenomics will come out before TGE. So, if tokenomics is gonna come out in a couple of weeks if i had to guess it will be like 2 and at this point 2 weeks will already be in 2026 and TGE will be after that in 2026

smol update on Dec 29 as a potential Lighter airdrop date. YES odds are still holding in the 40–45% range, but a few things changed. one of the allegedly "insider" wallets (registered Dec 2025, only Lighter bets) exited his position almost at b/e. at the same time, a new top YES holder appeared, a trader who previously bought NO across several Lighter polymarkets and suddenly flipped to YES here the funny part: you can check his PnL, and judging by that, it doesn’t look insider-ish at all (deep in the red). polymarket.com/profile/0x1a09… so based on these changes, it looks to me like some kind of trap imo, price got pumped to attract liquidity, likely to be dumped later. i’m keeping an eye on this market for research purposes, but definitely not touching YES here, alway dyor
