Nope. David Shafer is a hero and was in 2020. What cost GA those 2 Senate seats was the failure of Gov Kemp, Lt Gov Duncan, SOS Raffensperger and AG Carr to step up and DO something about the 2020 unlawful mess of an election. Do you remember, Erick, how you defended Raffensperger and Fulton County illegally restarting counting ballots after they ran the observers and the media out of State Farm Arena on election night? Raffensperger said “they weren’t tabulating…they were just getting ready for the next day….” The tape clearly showed that was a lie. But you repeated it. The next explanation from Raffensperger was that officials were there watching the counting (that Raffensperger and you said didn’t happen) the entire time. Again, the video clearly showed that ALSO wasn’t true. So then Raffensperger went on 60 Minutes and said the Trump people “altered” the videotape. Also a lie. Raffensperger never met a lie he wasn’t willing to spout. And you helped him. You defended their fecklessness.
That’s what cost GA 2 Senate seats. Cheating and then lying / covering up.
It was not David Shafer. He was and is a hero. You should have been helping him.
But you -like others in GA GOP - were not in favor of Pres Trump in 2016 and never really came around. Sadly. That’s what cost GA its two Senate seats.

Whoever ends up facing Keisha Bottoms after the primaries, here’s what I’m going to do for you. You and I are going to shoot a campaign video right in my community, right where I grew up, at University and Pryor.
The exact spot where 8 yr old Secoriea Turner lost her life during the unrest, after a stand-down order from Ms. Bottoms that left the intersection unprotected.
We’re going to stand there and talk about leadership, accountability, and what it really means to protect the people of Georgia.

Had Spirit Airlines been allowed to merge with Jet Blue, it would have given them much more resiliency.
Thanks to @SenWarren, @PeteButtigieg, and all of their friends in the Biden Administration who backed their enthusiastic opposition to the Spirit-Jet Blue merger, dozens of regional airports will now lose service and thousands of jobs will now be lost.

As the Georgia governor’s race begins to take shape and Keisha Lance Bottoms emerges as the leading Democrat, let’s not forget the name Secoriea Turner.
After the shooting of Rayshard Brooks, Keisha Bottoms allowed armed groups to take over the intersection of University Avenue and Pryor Street where a child with her whole life ahead of her was murdered because her Mother got off on the wrong exit.
It’s also worth noting that all Officers involved in the shooting of Rayshard Brooks were later fully exonerated.
Leadership means protecting the people you serve. Atlanta deserved that then, and Georgia deserves it now.

I can't think of anything more comical than a 23 year old with zero real world accomplishments explaining to "MAGA Operators" how warfare and geostrategy intersect.

I'm not some Ivory Tower academic or think tanker
I have deployed to dozens of countries I doubt you could find on a map. I've watched out political leaders fail and tried my damndest to show them the light.
Now we have a leader who understands American power and exceptionalism and has the stones to employ it. But instead of seeing how that plays out, we should take the advice of an un-experienced, smarmy toad who vomits political talking points as if they are wisdom.
They are NOT. They are not even founded in the slightest reality, but you have no way to know that because you are the ultimate know nothing. Sniping from the sidelines of a life and death game in which you will never participate.
Talk is cheap. Uninformed trash talk from a fatuous, fat-faced, featherbrain is the cheapest of all.

I know Scott Jennings tantrum got all the attention yesterday, but I want to talk a little bit about what I said that got him so mad. The bottom line is: Trump’s war with Iran has failed. This has made it mentally strenuous for MAGA operators to defend it on TV. For 8 weeks now, Scott has pointed to the U.S. destroying the 50 year old Navy and Air Force of Iran to try and prove we have won. This is dishonest for many reasons. The point of war is not to kill your enemies and blow up their navy. That’s an infantile view of war that MAGA is pushing to trick Americans. The point of war is to use force to extract political concessions from your enemy that benefit you on the world stage. Trump has been unable to translate his military success into a SINGLE political concession from Iran. Not one. This is a failed war. The Strait is closed. Iran won’t even negotiate. The enriched uranium is still in Iran with their blueprints stored in the Cloud. So enter Scott Jennings. He has claimed weekly that victory is right around the corner with this war… but we have blown past the 4-6 week deadline set by this administration and have failed to get a single concession. So I asked the simple question: “Can you name a single political concession we have gotten from Iran?” He couldn’t answer. Never forget the weakness he showed when he had no answer for Trump’s mistakes.

If both parties MAXXED OUT on gerrymandering, the House would end up with 262 Republicans to 173 Democrats -- according to leftist FiveThirtyEight.
That's because Republicans control more state governments with multiple districts, and Democrat voters congregate in cities. This makes it easy-peazy to pack Dem voters into fewer districts.
Time to play hardball. Let's do it . . . NOW!

Trump saying the US could “take over Cuba” sounds like war talk, but that’s not really what’s happening.
This is more about pressure than invasion.
Sanctions are getting tighter, oil supplies are being squeezed, and Cuba’s economy is already struggling. The idea is to push it to a point where the government has no option but to sit at the table or make changes.
There’s also a bigger play here. The US is trying to show it still controls the region and doesn’t want Russia or China getting too comfortable in its backyard.
So the strong language is deliberate. It keeps Cuba on edge and gives Washington more bargaining power.
In simple terms, this isn’t about taking Cuba by force.
It’s about squeezing it till it has to respond.

After a District Judge ruled in 2023 that Georgia’s congressional map violated the Voting Rights Act, Governor Kemp immediately called a special session to ADD a new Black-majority congressional district in Atlanta.
“The court ruled; Georgia will redraw.”
Governor Kemp jumps into action when it harms Republicans and delays to act when it helps.
