The nurses strike isn’t just about pay, of course we should pay nurses fairly It’s about being valued for the work they do, it’s about safe levels of staffing, it’s about improving working conditions, it’s to prevent more nurses leaving It’s about patient safety

After arriving home late, yet again last night (staying on to support due to nursing and doctor shortages), My husband asked when they're going to fund the NHS properly? I think it's clear from this statement that this government want to break the NHS and it's staff.

Today the government told us to "consider our patients" The fact they came out with a statement shows how much they do not understand the pressures we are under. Striking is FOR the patients. We cannot provide the care they deserve. They are worth more. We are worth more
