🚨 HUGE NEWS Monday, January 12, 2026, the law firm Heaphy, Smith, Harbach & Windom LLP, officially opened its doors in Washington, D.C. You might recognize the names of this law firms founders: • Jack Smith: Former DOJ Special Counsel who led the investigations into the January 6th Capitol riot and the mis-handling of Trump's classified documents. • ​Tim Heaphy: Former U.S. Attorney and the chief investigative counsel for the House January 6th Select Committee. • ​David Harbach: A former federal prosecutor who served on Smith’s special counsel team, specifically working on the classified documents case. • ​Thomas Windom: A veteran prosecutor who led the investigation into Trumps efforts to interfere with the 2020 election. The firms founders have expressed that the firm's creation was motivated by a desire to defend the "rule of law" and maintain independence outside of large corporate law firms. And while they don't embrace the "resistance" label, they have confirmed they are prepared to represent civil servants, FBI agents, or other individuals who feel they have been unfairly targeted or terminated by the Trump regime.

Many don’t realize that the first people Hitler sent to his concentration camps weren’t everyday Jewish citizens, but his political opponents. So, when Trump rants about retribution, locking up his opponents, and giving them “very long sentences,” I can’t help but take him seriously… because history teaches us that is what fascist dictators do during their “Day One” period to consolidate their power. (After all, if you’re hellbent on staying in power but aren’t likely to win the next election, you can’t have your political opponents running around free.) I loved this great man. RIP Phil Lesh. He did what he loved until the very end. This was shot on his 84th birthday earlier this year at The Capitol Theater. Such a long long time to be gone and a short time to be there... Those words were never more true.
