Most people sit too low on the pec deck. Grab the bar, sit higher, and you’ll feel the difference immediately. More stretch, better contraction, and way more upper chest activation. Massive chest pumps. You’re filling the chest with blood every single rep.

Anyone super jacked that says they train to “be healthy and live longer for their kids” is just full on coping. If you’re truly training for health, 100s of body weight reps a day and running/sprinting is about all you need. Don’t lie to yourself, you know damn well your whole ass couple hours dedicated to arms isn’t to increase your life span. It’s vanity. Me, myself? I do it cause I got a big ego and a tiny penis.

When performing the bench press, don't let the bar roll back in the hand and put pressure on the wrist. Instead, position the bar as shown below with the weight being placed directly in line with the joint.

Good morning! Back in rural TX/AR/OK, high school football practice wasn’t just kids in helmets. You’d have dads rolling straight off a rig, still smelling like diesel, Copenhagen, and a 12-hour shift in the sun. They’d throw on those crusty ’87 pads and give the boys a real look. Assistant coaches did it too—mostly ex-players who never emotionally retired. They’d line up across from kids and hit ’em full speed. Not out of anger—just the only language they knew for building backbone. That went on well into the 2000s. It didn’t end because it stopped working. It ended because liability and cell-phone cameras started running a faster 40 than toughness. And somewhere deep in the sticks, there’s still an uncle who’ll strap on pads before his coffee even finishes percolating!
