While working on adjusting the weights on the rig, I thought how cool it would have been for a Jimmy Meet and Greet with an animatronic Goddard, similar to animatronic Olaf.

One of my favorite design bits about this costume is the lack of a neck, which then causes the position of his head to get lower or higher depending on the proportions of the performer. It's visually humorous.

As of now, Mario & Luigi is the only one of the main 3 RPG Mario franchises that isn't referenced in the Mario movies I hope that, if there's a Luigi's Mansion movie, they use one of the songs from the franchise when they're in the mushroom kingdom, makes sense for a Luigi movie

@Nintoonist It's like they boiled down Super Mario into Mario helping a princess and stopping Bowser along the way. A core part of Luigi's Mansion is Mario's abduction, so I feel like its neeeded. However, Dark Moon didnt reveal Mario initally so LM can still work without Mario to a point.

@Nintoonist Plus they used Luigi as the captured one in that movie to get Mario and Peach in the plot together towards a common goal. It also gave Mario a motivation deeper than something like "we should save the princess because it's the right thing". It was simple but effective imo.

After how they adapted Mario Galaxy I'm on the fence about this. But since Luigi's Mansion is a smaller side series maybe it'll stay more focused on just Luigi's Mansion stuff? I hope so!

@Nintoonist Though a mini series focusing on Luigi battling different portrait ghosts would actually be really really cool.

@Nintoonist Im not sure how it would work as a B plot. For LM to have its stakes Mario needs to be kidnapped. Luigi being alone in the mansion versus the ghosts is the kind of story I want to see. A focused plot on Luigi overcoming his fears for his family and friends. Theres potential here!
