@LaursD1 @Meta @facebook Hi Laura, Very weird today no emails no notification I have been reinstated today. Not sure if MSP had something to do with it!

@LaursD1 I received a reply from Jackie Baillie. She said she would try her best , but said META notorious for this issue. Have you any details of a good cyber legal team in Scotland

@BeanoDeejay They are an American company though & have more success with US accounts due to different laws.

This is right outside the P1 classroom covered in bird droppings & feathers. Children walk through this every day. The school says there’s no janitor to clean it. That’s completely unacceptable. @Edinburgh_CC how can this be considered safe or hygienic for young children?

@LaursD1 What help can they offer? Do they get account reinstated? I gather you were the same as me ? I wonder how many in Scotland have the same issue.

@BeanoDeejay I’ve not been hacked this time, but the company can help if you’ve been disabled for Meta’s so called community standards.

@LaursD1 I may just contact my MSP first. Mine was Community Standards, then I immediately appealed and then instantly disabled after sending face recognition.

@BeanoDeejay I wasn’t contacted by anyone who reached out to me - I don’t trust them. I asked in my travel network if anyone had had similar happen to them & got their accounts back & another agent said she used them. I paid for the initial £15 min call & was impressed.

@LaursD1 I am going to contact my MSP Jackie Baillie. Not sure what she can do or wording for my letter.

@AccfacebookD Is there any support in the UK for people suddenly disabled on Facebook. I have sent appeals by email and also opened a chat via Meta Verified on Instagram. The chat has frozen out with action required. I am 100% convinced my account was hacked just before getting suspended then banned. I have tried all routes I can think of to appeal. Any help would be great

@BeanoDeejay @Edinburgh_CC No, not yet. I have my local MSP contacting Meta directly today, so will see how that goes. I had a call with hacked.com 2 weeks ago, as they’re legit. But for UK only a 40-50% chance of recovery. So trying my MSP first.

Hi John, Saw your post earlier about being Disabled on FB.I live in scotland and was disabled on 17th Oct but had no response from Meta, or Meta Verified via Instagram account. Did you get your account back or still sending emails and chat? I was considering using a Cyber expert but got cold feet due to potential scammers

@aniaoksana, my Facebook account was disabled today, October 18th, 2025, aka No Kings Day. I searched it on an AI search engine who said it was widespread. @facebook says I need to appeal by logging in, but will not allow me to log in. I have had Facebook since 2008. Any options?
