@DvdHam @AdamMyerson The outer diameter is all that is different. I have made these (admittedly in a crude way) smaller with a file and a little time. The inner end that touches the outboard FH bearing is the same on both models.

Friends, I’m trying to track down 3 of these. Drive side end cap for DT Swiss 350 straight pull hubs for an XDR driver, 12 x 142. Lemme know.

Why are people bitching about the new @SRAMmtb Transmission being "re-standardization"? Bro, they first designed a UNIVERSAL derailleur hanger to make this shit work on more frames. THEY LITERALLY STANDARDIZED THE MOST TERRIBLY UNSTANDARDIZED BIKE PART IN EXISTENCE

@4738463739a @BrickhouseMTB @SRAMmtb It isnt really more expensive than buying XX1 AXS at retail, so the pricing shouldnt be a shocker. Its tough at upgrade but new bikes are going to cost the same when you adjust for constant pricing improvement

@Beanpolematt @BrickhouseMTB @SRAMmtb No complaints about it here, just pointing out the actual argument as I understand it. Besides the price, it looks great. Seems like a true generational leap frog improvement vs the steady small incremental improvement of most changes.

@4738463739a @BrickhouseMTB @SRAMmtb So their team of engineers came up with something great, simple to install, and a true SHIFT (pun intended) and it is their fault it doesnt work on your current bike. Tapered steerer tubes had phase in curve but we love those.

@angryasian The Rocky Mountain Element, Transition Spur, and Epic Evo are the tops here they have XC DNA. The Ripley, Tallboy, Ranger, Trail 429 all have trail bike DNA and are really pigs in comparison.
