Life can be busy, but there is always time to talk about the Bears!

I think a lot of the Bears fans that are pounding the table “what about the defense!” forget just how many injuries our defense had last season. We had to play the Steelers without a single starting LB. And how many games the offense couldn’t stay on the field the first 3 quarters. Still hope Poles manages to get some more help on the DL, but I think DA has enough to work with to make a solid defense.

I think I am most excited…intrigued…. By WR Zavion Thomas. I have no illusions that he will Devin Hester explosive on returns, but if he can make returns explosive again. And that type of speed makes DBs have to respect the deep ball, keeps them honest.

Man, work has been crazy. But it kept me from emotional posting after the draft. Looking back now I am a lot less upset. I still am completely worried about the DLine. But I like the fact that an offense is being built around Caleb. Getting pieces to grow together. Gotta have a little faith the defense will hold up and the offense will make their job a little easier.

@JBDstarwars But it’s Indiana! Although I’ve heard a lot of people echo what you’ve said

@BearBoards_ Indiana is actually much closer to downtown and only 15-20 from soldier field and 15 from the sox stadium

I am freaken worn out waiting for the stadium drama to end. Arlington Heights seems like the obvious choice for creating the best experience for fans. I struggle with the thought of the Bears leaving for Indiana. Regardless, just get it done and let us recover and move forward.

@Maestermagoo Well, I was just picking from the current options. And seeing as I hail from Alaska, not going to pretend I have a valid opinion on any of it.

@BearBoards_ Yeah no way lakefront on Wolf Lake, which is part of Lake Michigan, right by Lake Michigan with a harbor, popular casino, beach/bird sanctuary could offer a better fan experience than a suburb on a former horse track and no other distinguishing features.

@ScottPresler @ChairWarfield The AK GOP and Carmela didn’t do anything to help. They are part of the problem. They have let republicans in this Alaska down for well over a decade.

Just got off the phone with Alaska. I am coming to Alaska this year. Not only to advance the SAVE America Act, but to also DEFEAT Ranked Choice Voting. Thank you to @ChairWarfield for your work to defeat RCV. See you soon!

@AyKay404 @ScottPresler @ChairWarfield @907Honest I agree with you 100% about Carmela and the AK GOP. Worthless and feckless. As far as 907…. I appreciate that he tried, I do know he put a lot of effort in…. But he needs to actually listen and discuss with people that have opinions different than his. He’d be more effective.

@ScottPresler @ChairWarfield Carmela hasn’t done anything to help Alaskans. The AK GOP is as worthless as Murkowski. Only person you need to be working with here is @907Honest. No one has done more than him trying to repeal RCV. Thanks for coming and helping but AK GOP is the problem, hit up Phil instead

@rightnowish @Kep22a @luinalaska I am sorry, I know you are just a troll, but what you post is just not even close to factually accurate. I have lived my entire life in Alaska. Been registered to vote for 30 plus years. I’ve can’t remember a single time I’ve had to travel to one of those cities to register.

@Kep22a @luinalaska Correct; at this time the only places to register are Kenai, Anchorage, Juneau, Wasilla, Fairbanks, and Nome. I think if that were to change Lisa would have no factual argument.

In under an hour I have gotten so annoyed by loud liars that I decide to walk to where I vote in rural Alaska in the snow to prove a point, found my passport, put on my boots, got a coffee, fallen on my butt, collected myself, brushed off the snow, and still walked from my front door to the election office on the island in under three minutes. Lisa Murkowski is a liar. PS Left the fall in the video for my haters because I appreciate comedy and a good humbling. A woman of the people.
Lu for Alaska@luinalaska

Yall gonna make my Alaskan butt walk down to where I vote in elections on camera on this remote island to show you how easy it is.

Am really sad to see DJ go. I still think he was an important part of the WR room. It would have been nice to give him one more year to chase a ring in Chicago after suffering so many crap years.

@CSleeve16374 I root for the team that beat us. That way I can at least pretend we might still be the second best team, only to lose to the SB champs.

Once my #bears have been eliminated, I generally root for the teams that have never made a Super Bowl before or teams that don’t regularly make it. With that said, one team I did not want to see make it was the Patriots lol. It may have been a funky route, but you take what the football gods give you. Great season for Drake Maye and Coach Vrabel. I will be rooting for the NFC winner and i do predict the winner of tonight’s matchup between the Rams/Seahawks will win the next one. But it’s a crazy NFL! - cream

My dad handed me two clothespins. “This,” he said, “is the story of everything.” In one hand: a clothespin from the 1960s. Solid hardwood, smooth from decades of use. It still works perfectly, some 60 years later. In the other: a clothespin from 2025. Lighter, paler wood, brittle. The spring is thin and unstable. Marketed as “extra durable,” my dad just raised an eyebrow. At first glance, it’s just two clothespins. But they tell a bigger story — the shift from durability to disposability, from craftsmanship to cost-cutting, from stewardship to constant consumption. This is planned obsolescence in action. Products are designed to fail so we must keep buying. Slowly, subtly, they break. Frayed wires, cracked hinges, brittle springs. Not because we want more, but because the old was never built to last. The costs are everywhere. Landfills overflow. Wallets empty. And maybe most quietly, our spirits grow accustomed to impermanence, to the idea that nothing is meant to endure. What if this philosophy extends beyond objects? What if it shapes how we treat relationships, communities, homes, even the Earth — as temporary, replaceable, disposable? It doesn’t have to be this way. That 1960s clothespin reminds us another path is possible. That we once made things to last, and we can again. That quality, care, and intention matter. That we can design for repair, for continuity, for meaning. The story in my palm is about more than laundry. It’s about the choices we make — and the world they create. Credit: Sustainable Human

@ChicagoBears vs @packers head to head record. 109/98. “Sad face” But, good news is it will only take Ben and CW 6 years to take back that lead. So suck it GB!
