But we need to stop conflating college football hate (healthy, passionate, fun) with personal hate.
They aren’t the same, and our appropriate aversion to the latter shouldn’t dampen or lessen the former.

I mean you're technically correct-- and it assumes you have the discipline to do it (and these places wouldn't offer it if most people had that discipline!)
But assuming you keep it in a separate account and use that seed amount for the monthly payments, and don't withdraw or add anything else, it'd be like a few hundred dollars in interest over the life of the obligation. Not insubstantial, but not earth-shattering either.
