@vlada_mc @Raldi616 @Andercot Availability Heuristic - the tendency to put more stock in information that is readily available to us. This cognitive bias leads us to base our decision on experiences that were more easily brought to mind rather than on the best information to inform the decision.

But nothing is written about how that eternal life, that you are all supposed to live for, looks like. There's nothing about eternal life that attracts you, makes you look forward and hurry up there. It's a calculated lie that makes you not care about the world. And you know it, you cry at funerals.

Can any space nerds help me understand how the Blue Origin capsule came back down without any re-entry burns? Was this a trajectory thing or some kind of superior material used? Falcon crew capsule for comparison

@Raldi616 @Andercot Real question, why does it matter so much that humans go into space? Can someone please share the value it brings you and/or us as a society? Sincerely curious, I don’t understood the crazy hype, at all. Why desire uninhabitable places so far away when we already have it?

@Bearsky007 @Raldi616 @Andercot Bible is historical? Like Adam and Eve, the incest family? Tell me, who did their sons have children with? There was only one woman in the world, according to the Bible, and the whole humankind comes from her. Kinky...

@Raldi616 @Andercot Anyone reading through this, please be aware the number of bot comments. It’s been an eye-opening experience discoursing this thread. X comments aren’t what you think they are. Reader beware.

@Raldi616 @Andercot We can run, but we can’t hide. ✌🏼 After much research, I’ve realized starting with the book of Matthew is a perfect beginning to enlightenment. #me-against-bots

@vlada_mc @Raldi616 @Andercot Correct, many do cry at funerals. I’m not one of them. There are times I feel it’s wrong I’m not sad about my parents’ passing coming soon. Reason is, I absolutely know I will be with them again because of life after death with faith in Jesus. No fear, my friend

@NAFO_Dragonfly @Raldi616 @Andercot The book of Matthew, which describes the life of Jesus Christ, son of God. The lineage, chapter 1, is historical fact that Mary and Joseph came from king David. King David’s lineage traces all the way back to Adam and Eve…you can lead a horse to water but can’t make him drink.

@stewmurraymusic @Raldi616 @Andercot Is Stew Murray your bot name? Funny how many times I posted the same comment on numerous threads and you all instantly replied with a very similar message. I didn’t realize how many bots troll here. Incredible.

@stewmurraymusic @Raldi616 @Andercot What if asteroids or climate crises wipe out humanity on earth and all of outer space? Our only God, who created everything we see, and Jesus Christ his son, will prevail. You’ll want to have faith in HIM when that time comes my buddy. ✌🏼👊🏼

Space colonies (Mars, a SpaceX goal) could ensure humanity’s survival against Earth-based risks like asteroids or climate crises. Mining asteroids or the Moon for rare minerals could address Earth’s resource scarcity. Orbital missions (Dragon, Starliner) to the ISS are steps toward sustained human presence in space, unlike Blue origins brief tourism.

@Andercot It only flew at Mach 3 - fast enough to reach space for a moment, not fast enough to stay in space. For that you need Mach 25. As you can imagine there’s a huge difference in the kinetic energy between those speeds.
