@NoJusticeMTG I'd LOVE to see where this 450k no came from and how the benefit change works in REAL life, not just in a spreadsheet. Did they consider how the parents higher taxes and higher cost of living will affect children? I doubt it.
English

@JamesMelville But the sheer volume of tax on the PARENTS will push them straight back down even further

@Sargon_of_Akkad Moral Blindness
When someone fails to see the ethical implications of their actions because they’re so focused on their positive intention.
They believe they’re doing good.
They ignore or don’t perceive the harm.
Their desire to help overrides their ability to see reality.

@Heccles94 Yes he is mega wealthy but he has grown companies which are assets that didn't exist before he made them. When you create something of 'value', the 'company' now has worth which you can borrow against. It's not like he has it all in cash and won't share it

@ZackPolanski Hi Zack. If you were the Prime minister of the UK, where would you draw the line on net immigration per year and for how many years?
English

The Labour Government reeling off the same far-right talking points on immigration. And look who is celebrating. The far right.
There is a political alternative that won’t ever scapegoat those fleeing war, persecution and torture

@realDonaldTrump If you successfully sue the BBC, would you mind giving it to a British charity for the homeless or a cause you admire? As you know, any compensation you get is tax payers money. Your consideration would be appreciated.

@Keir_Starmer Who's money will be used to 'save' all the listed industries? Energy and water firms make so much money they should be forced to use their own money and not subsidies
English

@ImkomalKGupta @bryan_johnson What are you trying to prove with this post? As you already know this information it's clearly not for you. Many people have no idea about it and it can help those people.

thanks for the groundbreaking revelation that a calm heart before bed might actually help us sleep better. did your fancy brain-monitoring toys tell you that, or did you just stumble out of bed one day and realize you weren’t a total grumpy mess? Maybe next you’ll tell us water’s wet and sugar’s sweet!?
English

Resting heart rate before bed is the single most important health marker you can optimize for. Lowering it will do more for your health than anything else.
Why?
+ it's the strongest predictor of your sleep quality
+ sleep quality determines will power and if you'll exercise
+ exercise and will power determine if you eat well.
Top things to lower your RHR before bed:
1. Eat your final meal of the day 2-8 hours before bed. Experiment.
2. Have a 30-60 min wind down routine before bed. Read a book. Journal.
3. Turn off screens. Do it.
4. Have red and amber lights on.
5. No alcohol. Stimulants (caffeine) in the morning hours to avoid disruption.
6. Be consistent, in bed +/- 30 min each night.

@perfectcountry @nunyabizness555 @EuropeInvasionn Your sick if you want havoc on innocent people who have nothing to do with what you say. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind
English

@nunyabizness555 @EuropeInvasionn Western countries have zero business in effecting regime change in Islamic countries. Bangladesh is the latest ugly example. America installed Islamic government is persecuting Hindus there. Hope all the Islamists further enter America & it's Western cronies & create havoc.

The biggest victim of technology is the truth.
Above is Kamala Harris getting off the plane to the cheers of the crowd waiting for her under the staircase. Just note that the crowd is built from computer commands and is the product of AI.
For the first time, AI tools are integrated in an election campaign. Part of the audience she is speaking in front of in videos is made of AI generated characters.

The “stolen land” people are simply low IQ with zero understanding of history or how the world works…
America was not stolen.
It was conquered.
The Native Americans were not skipping through a meadow when Europeans arrived…
They were savages.
Tribes constantly at war, taking resources (and land!) from each other.
They raided, raped, tortured and literally scalped each other. They were then conquered themselves by a people far more advanced in every quantifiable metric. The natives didn’t even have a common written language, let alone any concept of an advanced civilization. They were living thousands of years behind the rest of the world.
America was conquered. The Natives lost.

@BowTiedVitamins Great post - Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Is this Mag Mix decent ? -- 1,404mg Magnesium blend. 135.72mg of elemental Magnesium. (1:1:1) = Magnesium bisglycinate, Magnesium malate, Magnesium aspartate
I know it's way off your recommended 800mg elemental though
English

Vitamin D requires magnesium in order to function properly.
The process of converting D to its active form uses tremendous amounts of magnesium.
Vitamin D deficiency & magnesium deficiency often go hand in hand for this reason. There is not enough magnesium to raise the body’s level of active vitamin D and what little active vitamin D that’s in the body has used up all of the available magnesium.
People who complain of side effects from taking vitamin D are often just experiencing the side effects of magnesium deficiency — things like headaches, tiredness, etc.
This is one of the many reasons you need to be supplementing with more magnesium, ESPECIALLY if you are taking vitamin D supplements.
Not only will you experience the increased energy, mental clarity, calm focus, etc. from taking magnesium, but your body will function more optimally by being able to convert more vitamin D to its active form.
You should be supplementing with at least 800mg of elemental magnesium per day — glycinate, malate, chloride & threonate are the best forms.
Magnesium supplements are safe, cheap & abundant. There’s no excuse for not taking a daily magnesium supplement except pure stubbornness & stupidity.
