@hannahfearn @cocobyname If it weren’t for a male colleague sharing his fee for a job we both did (same amount of work), I’d have been paid 76% less. Thanks to his transparency I renegotiated to be paid the same. Pay transparency is so important.

@Co22225 @Bill_Linnane @OurWhiskyOWF For some reason I can’t see that reply? Good on them for calling it out. The comment was by a guy who runs a whisky club though, I’d have thought the whisky community would be more comfortable challenging one of their own.

But, do you actually like whisky? It’s a question I’ve been asked countless times when telling people what I do for a living. People are shocked when they hear a woman has made a career out of something they believe to be a ‘man’s drink’. My experiences are not unique though…
