A new article about the classic framework “5 Behaviours of a Cohesive Team” by @patricklencioni, aimed at building strong, harmonious, effective teams. The five are: 1) Building trust 2) Engaging in healthy conflict 3) Commitment: ensuring clarity and buy-in 4) Accountability among peers 5) Focusing on achieving collective results It's a great reminder. Today the UK government claims to have hit its 50k extra nurses target.
Yet there remains 42,306 vacant nursing posts in the NHS in England and waiting lists are at record levels.

@abbas_virji @GPonlinenews 34 million appointments delivered by #GeneralPractice in one month. Absolutely incredible ( and this is still classed as experimental data) and certainly for #Nurses does not capture the totality of the work, including immunisation programmes and outreach care.

@louisebrady17 @trevorclower @gillrogers66 Agree #GPNs are the backbone of general practice but there’s a distinct lack of focus on recruitment & retention strategies for this evidence-based group of professionals. Poor pay T&Cs which are inequitable to other nurses providing NHS services & ARRS in GP need to be addressed
