You can tell a high school football player its important to run track and field and also the amount of muscle thats needed, to earn a possible Division l offer. They’ll just look at you or say, “I got you”. No, do you got yourself? This benefits you not me. Then, the high school football player would look at you like you’re supposed to hold their hand, and take them to sign up for track and field. But, now they’re sad or depressed, when a college football coach doesn’t offer them when they visit their high school. High school football coaches can only market the No brainer Division l kid, who sell himself. I educate my students and social media (free game) on what you need to do. The transfer portal has made it, where the high school football players need to do all of these little things in advance. That’s why having someone in your corner like myself and others, can provide you with guidance and constructive criticism. You’re getting the blueprint. While others think transferring is automatic success for their child recruitment.
