So Croatia became a FIFA member in 1992, Macedonia in 1994.
But then (according to Wiki) FIFA and UEFA consider Serbia "to be the successor of both the Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro

I'd take a guess at something like Czechoslovakia vs. Yugoslavia in the early 90s...
