Back in 2021, i was just 14yo kiddo i used to hang out on discord every night, mostly wasting time playing Cod4, Pubg or doing some random shit with friends I used to do part-time reselling too, just enough to cover Netflix, snacks, and other small things One day, a friend introduced me to NFTs i literally had zero idea what they were He said “bro just join this discord server, grind chats, get this ‘whitelist’ role and i’ll pay you 10K PKR (around $35) for it” I was like cool easy money all i had to do was chat i had no clue what i was doing just blindly following instructions So i joined the server spammed chats all day got the WL and sold it to him for just 35 US f*ing dollars At that time i didn’t even know what a “WL” was didn’t know what “minting” meant either A few days later the project minted… and that same WL spot I sold for $35 ended up being worth over $5k+ And there i was… holding my $35 happily 😭 That was my first introduction to NFTs… and also my first major L in the space (biggest regret in my 18yo life) Still laugh about it, still hurts a little but yeahh we all make mistakes so it's ok ig
