Dear Countrymen, 🆘 ▪️The social behaviour aspects of Banking in India has largely been an ignored area. ▪️The Banking is easy for the literate middle class, semi-literate, rural populace and the Farmers and MSME folks. ▪️They hardly constitute any sizeable percentage in terms of banking service though they may account for 90% plus business. ▪️The farmers 🌾 when they earn good harvest 💰 and get good prices for the yield, they don’t know what to do with such disposable surplus. ▪️Like age old tradition, of seventy five years, they innocently approach the Branch Managers with folded hands 🙏 to seek guidance. ▪️The plethora of technicalities starting from KYC, Aadhar linking, two factor authentication, nominee details, intrinsic insurance offered by the bank etc, are ages away from them. ▪️Despite explaining everything, they very much innocently, vulnerably, ask the Branch Managers to decide for them. ▪️And herein lies the catch. The Branch Managers have been overburdened with ‘cross selling’ targets i.e. securing funds in mutual funds, insurance products, accident benefit schemes and many such riders that may look enticing, but are directly linked to the market. ▪️No one knows what policy, mutual fund, FDRs, etc May have been created by the Branch Managers in their name. (I am saying this responsibly). ▪️And when the account holder dies without a nominee or with an illiterate nominee, the situation becomes desperate. ▪️This guy Jitu Munda, a tribal compatriot from Odisha. Fed up with the EVIDENCE sought for his sister being alive, he dug up the skeleton and got it to the Branch. ▪️That’s it ! This is what India’s Banking system is about in Circa 2026. They don’t give a damn for the last man, as advised by Gandhij’s Talisman. @harari_yuval There's enough for everyone, but hoarding is incurable. Every nation has a selfish mindset, & on top, leaders have greed surpassing even national interests. Humanity, occupies the rear most seat. As of now, cooperation looks good on paper, but practically, seems near impossible.

In order to cooperate on a global level, we must appreciate what is common everywhere. None of humanity's biggest challenges – technological disruption, climate change, or the threat of global war – can be solved at a national level.

The only person that creates events in my life's time-line, as long as I am alive, is, Me❓️❓️ I somehow feel that now, options are, but only, Hobson's choices.

Nature is pure science. Weather we destroy or preserve it, the consequences will follow scientific principles. Choice is ours❗️
