I've never seen this before in my career: 28-30 year olds who refuse to use AI coding tools. You show them what they can do augmented (not replaced) with AI and you see in their eyes that they have no damn clue of what's happening. You can't work with these people anymore. Time used to pass over older generations slowly. Now it's passing over us at the peak of our careers. Sadly, adaptability isn't optional at this point.

I think today, more than ever, Ethereum is the right place to grow DeFi further. I'd like to help make this vision a reality 🙏

I get why this is happening. Builders are tired. Long cycles, burned energy, not many wins. VCs are stuck too. Dry powder, LPs asking "what's the thesis now?", ICs needing memos, nothing obvious to fund. When you can't deploy, you narrativize. When deal flow dries up, content flow explodes. So we write. A lot. Threads about what went wrong, why crypto failed, where we missed the turn. Totally human. Still unproductive. Ecosystems don't reboot via better explanations. They reboot when people start making things again, even ugly, naive, half wrong experiments. Open Excalidraw. Sketch something dumb. Ship badly. Repeat. If your solution is another thread, you're part of the stall.
