Regarding the community’s questions around data verification and bot concerns We’d like to clarify how we currently determine whether task data is valid: We use a frontend simulator, and a frontend checker is used to determine whether a task has been completed. As long as the submitted data is in the correct format, our API will accept it. However, accepted data does not automatically count as a valid contribution. Only data that successfully passes backend verification can potentially be signed and counted as a contribution. This means that even if bots submit data, they will not be counted as valid contributions because they cannot pass our backend verification. Such invalid data will be marked accordingly, the occupied slot will be released, and the task may be reopened after some time. This is why you may see many tasks in the “Ended” tab that are not yet at 100% completion. Last week, due to the large volume of data requiring verification, processing was slower than expected. We have since added more servers, and verification should now generally be completed within 12 hours. We’ll continue improving the verification pipeline to make the process faster, more transparent, and more reliable for the community.
