🥰💖 i’ve definitely learned to block out the hate, but #Disney needs to fix there 6 issue problem. 1 • They need to treat their creators 1000x better and figure out how to outsmart Wall Street because firing people who work their entire lives to work at Disney just to increase profit margins for Wall Street isn’t going to to work long-term and erodes the Disney ecosystem —- ——Because a system where you make billions of dollars every year but will still be considered a flop if you don’t increase even by a teeny fraction , even if you’re not losing money, will destroy Disney from the inside out. 2 • Walt Disney himself positioned Disney as a family brand without making the distinction to the public that you can be a family brand without being conservative and that it’s a difference between being traditional and conservative. 3 • Bob Iger seemed to want to bring diversity to Disney but never gave the diverse projects the care, backing or public support they needed to succeed in a movie industry and world that can be very conservative and volatile. 4 • Bob Iger and Bob Chapek were so scared to publicly Stand against conservative backlash and kept going back-and-forth which made the company more of a target when all they had to do was stand firmly in their (5th Inclusion Key) initiative which people would have respected more. 5 • Disney’s past leadership never understood the companies new place in the world, because with every new diverse project they released successful or not Disney helped push progressive and inclusive values forward which has created a new fan loyalty, so even when the box office is down, the parks, cruises, and Disney+ is up. 6 • They need to hire cultural advisors, meaning people who know where culture is going and how it’s developing in the space Disney has a presence in, so they don’t make so many mistakes that can easily be avoided.
