Blatant misuse of government platforms by the @INCKarnataka government in Karnataka! In Hubballi, a publicly funded event was hijacked by Congress leaders and officials — turned into a full-fledged party show. Party banners on stage, Quran recitation in a government function, and officials themselves behaving like Congress workers. The Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Commissioner Rudresh Ghali and Zilla Panchayat CEO Bhuvanesh Patil participated like party guests instead of enforcing government protocol. This is a serious breach of administrative ethics and a misuse of taxpayer money. I’ve written to the Chief Secretary @shalinirajnish demanding an enquiry and immediate action against the concerned officials. ₹20–30 crore of public money is spent to conduct sessions of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. Taxpayers fund this process so that elected representatives can raise issues, seek answers, and hold the government accountable. Yet yesterday the House had to be adjourned because ministers and departments failed to provide answers to a large number of questions raised by MLAs. When legislators come prepared with constituency issues but the government does not even respond, the very purpose of the Assembly is defeated. If sessions produce no answers and no outcomes, what exactly are we spending crores of public money for? This government appears to have neither head nor tail when it comes to respecting the democratic process. Legislative accountability cannot be treated casually. I urge the Speaker to take the strictest possible action against those who fail to comply with the rules of the House and the constitutional process, irrespective of whether they are ministers or legislators. Democracy cannot function if the government itself refuses to answer.

ಸರ್ಕಾರ ದಿವಾಳಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ದಿನಕ್ಕೊಂದು ನಿದರ್ಶನಗಳು ಹೊರಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ! ಇದು ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲ, ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕೊಲೆ. ಬರೋಬ್ಬರಿ 11 ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳಿಂದ ಸಂಬಳವಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ಸಾಲಗಾರರ ಕಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಸತ್ತು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ "ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ನೀರುಗಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ" ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ರಮೇಶ್ ನೇಣಿಗೆ ಶರಣಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಬಡವನ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ಇಡೀ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ನೇರ ಹೊಣೆ. ಇನ್ನೊಂದೆಡೆ, ರಾಜ್ಯದ 51,000ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅತಿಥಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು 4 ರಿಂದ 5 ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳಿಂದ ವೇತನವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೀದಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಗಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರು ಪಾಠ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೇ? ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲಾ ಅತಿಥಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ನೀಡುವ ಗೌರವಧನವನ್ನೂ 5 ತಿಂಗಳಿಂದ ಬಾಕಿ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು ಈ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ದಿವಾಳಿತನವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ​ಉಚಿತ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಬಡಾಯಿ ಕೊಚ್ಚುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ, ತಳಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತ ಬಸಿದು ದುಡಿಯುವವರ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲವೇ?

The KPSC recruitment process is once again under a cloud, and the Congress government in Karnataka cannot escape responsibility. From question paper errors to repeated exam cancellations and now serious allegations in the interview shortlist for 384 Gazetted posts, the pattern is clear: the system meant to reward merit is collapsing under poor governance. When candidates who wrote the exam in the same room disproportionately appear in the interview shortlist, it raises grave questions about the integrity of the process. Lakhs of hardworking aspirants spend years preparing for these exams, only to see the process repeatedly mired in controversy. This is not just administrative incompetence, it is a betrayal of Karnataka’s youth. A constitutional body like KPSC should represent transparency, credibility, and fairness, yet under the current regime it has become synonymous with confusion and allegations. If the government cannot ensure a clean recruitment process for even 384 posts, what message does that send to the next generation of civil servants? Karnataka’s youth deserve a system where merit decides success, not manipulation or mismanagement. The @INCKarnataka government must order a time bound independent investigation and structural reforms in KPSC immediately. I have written to Hon’ble PM @narendramodi and the Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka to bring to their notice the worsening governance and employment crisis in the state. The Karnataka @INCKarnataka Government has failed to create job opportunities for students, pushing lakhs of aspirants into frustration and uncertainty. This anger was evident in the massive protest held in Dharwad, where youth demanded jobs, transparency, and accountability. Along with Leader of Opposition Shri @RAshokaBJP, Leader of Council Shri @NswamyChalavadi, Youth Leader @BommaiBharath, and party leaders and Karyakarthas, I stood in solidarity with the students and supported their legitimate demands. What is even more concerning is the state’s response—no engagement from the leadership, only restrictions and lathi charges.
