the chips can do thousands of trillions ops per second.
but most of the time they’re idle, waiting for data to show up 👀
a lot of gains to come from larger, faster memory - memory is the bottleneck

i would use this and let people use my GPUs for free if it did not meant having to install Linux.
i am mainly using Windows, that people like it or not & i find it extremely sad to think that many GPUs will never be able to use, *just because*.

GPU owners are already earning TON. cocoon.org is up. 🏦 Centralized compute providers such as Amazon and Microsoft act as expensive intermediaries that drive up prices and reduce privacy. Cocoon solves both the economic and confidentiality issues associated with legacy AI compute providers. 📈 Now we scale. This was one hell of a legend. And so loved.
I haven't stopped receiving messages and calls from friends, former colleagues, people I haven't talked to in 5+ years.
So many heartwarming testimonies.
I knew he impacted my life, I knew he impacted others'. I didn't realize he impacted so many.
Still can't process it.

I got a call this morning, telling me my best friend and mentor of 9 years had suddnely left us.
He took me under his wing when I started as an intern at FNATIC and we developped an incredible trio relationship with @CardilloSamuel. This period is one my most cherished memories.
I've witnessed him craft RTFKT from the ground up together with Z & Chris, trying to share his vision to the world.
He was the most stereotypical yet unique Parisian asshole genius you'd find.
From London to LA to Paris and our short stay in Lausanne this September, I have some of my most amazing memories with him.
Without him I wouldn't be here typing today, he was a major part in saving my life back in Dec 2017. I owe him. A lot.
I'll miss you dearly Ben, hope you enjoy your next life as a crow.

since the cat is out of the box, today i've lost a friend of over 8 years. @benitopagotto was, with @benJhoffner, the closest friend i ever had over such a long period. he was my perfect grumpy parisian cliché on top of being an absolute asshole and genius who just said everything he thought of, without filters, not giving any f*cks about offending, as soon as the truth was said. he was just a unique human being, no one will ever replace him. this dude was literally raising crows out of his apartment windows! rtfkt was a glimpse in the timeline of memories of we have together. the unique jokes we've shared. sometimes we were mad at each other, but we only have love and respect for one another. i can't believe i will never hear your voice again, laugh with you, criticize shit with you, ... i will miss you forever and ever. thank you for everything. i hope you respawn as a badass mean crow! 🐦⬛🩷
