Now they are withdrawing their troops from Romania and Poland, leaving Eastern Europe on its own. We will manage on our own, because for centuries we have known one thing: if you want to rely on something, rely on yourself. But these betrayals will forever strip the United States of its role as a superpower. What kind of superpower does not keep its word? In our part of the world, a new superpower must rise to take America’s place: Europe.
