Belgium have just announced the indictment of the three Mohels who were investigated last year in Antwerp. With this act Belgium joins a short and shameful list, together with Ireland, of countries that use criminal law to prosecute Jews for practicing Judaism. This is a scarlet letter on Belgian society. The Brith Mila is the cornerstone of Jewish faith. Many countries in Europe and around the world have created legal frameworks to facilitate the brith and Jewish religion freedom in their countries. I call upon the Belgium government to act immediately and to find a solution.

@R0R3451370 @hi_im_envy Yeah lots of the roadside tests can detect the smallest traces and police usually class any positive as grounds for arrest. It's crazy like if you smoked last week you're in the same boat as someone driving after just smoking.

@JoeBLynam A friend who operates an off-licence (local to where we grew up, Joe) told me this was the agreement in order to incentivise brewers and retailers to promote low and no-alcohol drinks. I’m a big fan, it saved my life.

There's only one moral action that any Irish soldiers on the UNIFIL mission can do. We all know what it is and if one of the free staters can grow a pair of bollocks and do it I'll chain myself to the court until they're released and given a medal.

Earlier this evening, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) detained a UNIFIL peacekeeper after blocking a logistics convoy. Following direct and immediate contacts by UNIFIL's Head of Mission & Force Commander and our Liaison Branch, the peacekeeper was released in less than an hour.
