Just reminding our fans that in this era of cbb, people will always be cautious with their predictions of young teams no matter the name on the jersey. At the end of the day, who really cares what about July prediction anyway? I do not.

"offloading the blame" There is no blame to be given because there is nothing to apologize for lol. Brandon and Mark clearly did not know the history. I provided it. Many do not because group think is their default. You are falling in to that same line. By all means, Brandon, Mark, JayY1118, or anyone, disagree with the validity of the title, but it does not change its' history and that history's backing by opposing players and unbiased national media alike. Laughing at it? My eyes see about 100x more anger and people truly bothered by it than laughing at it. Which is quite telling.

A little history for you, @BFW and @clubtrillion.. The “Best Fans In Baseball” title and mantra was given by the legend Peter Gammons. Not us. Opposing players and national media have kept it alive because they believe it. This isn’t a self-given title, which are almost never true. For example: The King of the South.

Who wouldn’t adopt the title? If everyone unbias is telling you that you are this, why wouldn’t it be embraced with pride? Again, a title given and earned, not named and claimed. Very different. I’m not taking any angle. It is irrefutable truth and where the title came from. I’m sorry that’s bothersome for some, but it is the truth. As far as the empty stadium goes, you tell me who the better fans are? Those who line the pockets of owners and with their wallets support an organization’s failure by enabling it to continue OR refuse to attend demanding the greatness they have proven capable of previously?
