When a rich man is sick, a poor man will visit him to say sorry and wish him a speedy recovery. But when a poor man is sick, he waits until he recovers, then goes to tell the rich man that he has been sick. Do you get it?

@daddyhope We go through a lot? If you get these spot fines and you dont have cash but you want to swipe they ask you to drive 20-30kms to the nearest police station, whichever direction it is so that you swipe. They dont give you a ticket to pay, you drive at their convenient time

I watched this video posted by a tourist in Zimbabwe who has been promoting Zimbabwean tourism on his journey across the country. My first instinct was to ask, what is this? There are times when we do not just have to criticise, but must look for solutions. I think this is not a tourism problem, it is a policing problem that affects tourism, and it is a problem that does not just affect tourists but Zimbabweans as well who are driving across the country. The solution, in my view, is straightforward. When tourists enter our country, at the point of the border, they should be required to purchase all the necessary road safety paraphernalia demanded by the Zimbabwean police. First of all, I do not understand why one needs four triangles. Triangles are meant for when your car breaks down, you place one at the back and one at the front, that is two triangles. This tourist had three, yet he was told he needed four. I do not know why he needed four. But even if, for argument’s sake, he needed a hundred, then tell him at the border that he needs a hundred, and that there is a shop there selling them, even if it is a government-run shop. Make it a requirement that no motorist drives out of the border clearing area without the required triangles. They must buy them there and then. When they get to the exit gate, at that final clearing bay, they show the triangles and proceed, so that they do not encounter problems on the roads. If this is not done, you create situations like this one, where the Ministry of Tourism is dragged into an issue that has nothing to do with it, yet its work ends up being affected because of the ineffectiveness and lack of coordination among different government agencies. The requirement for triangles falls under the Ministry of Home Affairs, which superintends the police, so it must ensure that before any vehicle is cleared to leave the border, it complies. In most countries, you do not need four triangles. I have seen this absurdity in Zimbabwe only, and I experienced it. I own a car which has inbuilt reflectors, factory-fitted safety reflectors that perform the same function. Yet when you get to a Zimbabwean roadblock, they still want to see a separate portable reflector, even though the inbuilt system does the same job. This is a breakdown of common sense, and it does not just affect tourists, it affects Zimbabweans too. So instead of simply criticising, I chose to offer a solution. The responsible government agency and ministry must make it a requirement that any motorist entering the country has the stipulated triangles before they are cleared to leave the border. And if they do not have the four triangles, as required, as ridiculous as it sounds, there must be a facility at the border where they can purchase them and then proceed with their journey without harassment.

@joseph_kalimbwe Why tax a person coming to spend money in our country? You or me need to pay for a visa cz we’re not bringing foreign currency or jobs to the local non-traded sector. A British citizen will pay for hotels, local arts& heritage. Things we do not value! It’s economics, not politics

a) As a Zambian, i pay $20 visa to enter DRC. A citizen of Belgium pays nothing to enter DRC b) A DRC citizen pays $20 to enter Zambia. A British citizen pays nothing to enter Zambia. Africans charge each other to enter our own countries, then we let Europeans come in freely !!

Oh, poor me. The Africans he is talking about are not people like you or the dictators. The Africans he is talking about are serious achievers like Strive Masiyiwa, like James Manyika, like Dangote. Those are the people they hold in contempt, not you or Tinubu. Why would you even be on a board anyway? He is talking about serious people. You are justifying insults that are thrown at the best of the best we have in our communities, people who have built global businesses, led institutions, and earned respect through achievement. I wish you could read again, comprehend it, and only then comment. You commented without comprehension. When he says Africans are not serious, he is talking about serious Africans who have achieved at the highest level, not you.

For Zimbabweans visiting from the diaspora: 1. Bring your own alcohol. Zimbabwe is now full of fake alcohol manufactured by the investors kuma industries. Even established retailers like @OKZimbabwe are selling fake alcohol. 2. Fake fuel is now common in Zimbabwe. Diesel is being mixed with paraffin and sold in petrol stations owned by Zanupf mafias. 3. There are now petrol stations& take aways everywhere. 4. There are now schools everywhere. Even houses you lived in before have been converted into private schools. Industrial parks are now housing private schools. 5. There are now drs surgaries and clinics everywhere. Houses in the Ghetto are now clinics. 6. @PoliceZimbabwe is now back to their old ways. Roadblocks are back in full force& expert the police to fine you for not having a spare wheel or "expired fire extinguisher". You will get a ticket for not having Net Vehicle Mass written on your car. 7. Roads are now full of big 4x4 cars driven by Zanupf mafias. These cars have scaffs& Zanupf flags displayed everywhere. They will harass you in the roads left right and center& believe they own Zimbabwe. Some of them carry guns&can threaten fellow road users with their guns. 8. Keep your money safe. Dont carry lots of cash. Rather send yourself money via Mukuru/Western Union and collect from the bank as and whenever you want to use the funds. Zimbabwe is now full of dishonest people including relatives.

🔸Good day @nickmangwana, What’s “premier” about this toy bridge? Why not build solid, permanent infrastructure? How do you think this useless waste of money compares to Birchenough Bridge or Victoria Falls Bridge? Why is the Govt obsessed with low standards and why do they expect their mediocrity to be celebrated? We need new leaders.🇿🇼

MUTASA Hon @MishMugadza , commissioned the Premier South Footbridge in Mutasa . Valued at USD 70,000, the structure addresses critical safety and connectivity needs for a community near an active mining site. During the event, the Minister announced that the next infrastructure projects in the constituency will be footbridges at Tsvingwe and Nyakukwarara, the latter being a known challenge during the rainy season. This aligns with his stated vision that Manicaland is "on a good development trajectory" with multiple projects aimed at improving service delivery . The opening sparked a dialogue about the scale of development. While some praised the improved access, Senator Chief James Mutasa and other residents voiced serious concerns. Chief Mutasa argued that standard vehicle bridges are needed to support economic activity and heavy loads, questioning the utility of footbridges alone. He warned that elected officials must deliver more substantial development, linking it directly to public support.

Zimbabwe has begun levying the 15% Digital Services Tax introduced in the 2026 National Budget, raising the cost of accessing foreign digital platforms and sparking questions about affordability, digital inclusion, and whether the revenue will be reinvested into local tech development.

ZAOGA church says Guti’s ghost (currently loitering in Chipinge) is clean despite being buried as a ZANU PF Hero, after chopping RBZ money
ZimEye@ZimEye

The following is the moment when the late Ezekiel Guti’s ghost was officially reported as having appeared during a service led by the late preacher’s own widow Eunor and the daughter Larvene Guti who was on stage. It was an astonishing and eerie development, as members of the ZAOGA Forward in Faith Church gathered in Birmingham night claim they experienced an otherworldly visitation. Witnesses at the scene reportedly exclaimed, “We are seeing the man of God, (the late) Ezekiel Guti appearing to us right now, can you see him? Come now!” The incident, which left attendees in shock, suggests that the spirit of the late Ezekiel Guti, their revered religious leader who passed away over a year ago, has made an appearance in the UK. Guti, who was known for his influence in the ZAOGA church and a distinct association with Emmerson Mnangagwa’s signature scarf, is now at the center of a bizarre and controversial claim. Says one congregant in the video clip below- ”Amen. When Dr Laverne was singing, I started to pray. Suddenly, there was a thick presence of God and I started to pray. When I was praying I think I was almost on the floor; then I see Baba, he was running from this side; he was running and running from this side and he came back and again, he was running, and he went onto the stage. (video)the first clip alleging Ezekiel Guti has appeared  “When he’d come onto the stage, and when he was lifting his hands, I saw two angels standing besides Baba.  “Then suddenly there was now raining in this place, then some people they now, the way the rain was coming down, people were just raising their hands and people were just receiving.” She continued: “Now there were other people who were out standing. Now I think I saw pastor Kuneta, she was trying to lift me and I was now trying to tell her, no, also lift your hands, lift your hands, lift your hands, then later I saw other ladies coming running running, and receiving, and receiving and when the rain was coming like this- aaah, receive. But the others were just standing, did not receive, when the rain was coming down. But those who lifted up their hands they received, they received. SOB SOB SOB.” Another said,  “As I was sitting there, and Doctor Laverne (Guti’s first born daughter from his 2nd wife, Eunah) said someone’s hands are burning now, I felt my hands were so much itching and there was that side sensation that I’ve never felt before, and when I walked forward there was so much heavy anointing; the smoke was; it was so thick and very clear… and then I heard the voice say, “receive, receive!”” Later, another woman came up to announce saying that people will henceforth begin to manifest spiritual capabilities evident that they’ve been with Ezekiel Guti right there in Birmingham.

Many of my followers have sent me this attached tweet, which was posted by President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s spokesman, George Charamba, using his Jamwanda2 Twitter handle. On any ordinary day, this would be good news, but we are not in ordinary times my dear friends. The problem with Emmerson Mnangagwa is that he uses these deals to steal public funds. He has signed the same deals with the same country, Belarus. For instance, he got our government to pay US$474,296 per fire engine truck when the real cost was US$193,732 per truck. This means that while he asked us to celebrate the purchase of fire engines, he was actually the big winner, pocketing US$280,564 per truck. Pure daylight robbery that YOU, the taxpayer, will have to shoulder, thanks to Mnangagwa and ZANUPF! Let this procurement be transparent as required by law. If Mnangagwa produces the prices, I bet my bottom dollar they will be ridiculously inflated to factor in his kickbacks. But I can tell you this now, you will not get the real documents today. You will have to wait for investigative journalists to find them for you. That, we will! I can also bet that all the companies involved in these deals are owned by Mnangagwa through his chosen corrupt proxies. I wouldn’t mind if they delivered goods at market prices, but they won’t. Public procurement tenders are Mnangagwa’s number one methodology for stealing public funds. There is nothing he will bring from Belarus that you cannot find in South Africa, China or Europe, where the goods are actually cheaper than Belarus. The only difference is that it is harder to steal as much as he wants from those other countries! As predicted by many on this nd many other timelines, the tweet by Tino Machakaire was part of a well-choreographed plan to hoodwink the public into believing that Mnangagwa listens, when in fact it was preparation for a big loot by Mnangagwa and his corrupt cronies. You would have to be thoroughly stupid to believe that both Machakaire and Mnangagwa did not know the terrible state of hospitals in Zimbabwe, something Mnangagwa sent me to jail for reporting on! We await the details of the prices of the medical goods that will be procured, we will find out soon!
