2.8% is lower than the 3%, but prices are still rising too fast - and our exposure to fluctuations in oil/gas prices perhaps seen most strongly in the increase in transport costs. More sense than ever to maximise our energy diversity - drill, nuclear, wind and gas!

Anyone who still downplays Russia’s attacks is one of two things: wilfully ignorant or complicit. There is no third category. The Kremlin is not ambiguous about its intent. Nor should we be. Those who bend the knee to Moscow are traitors. independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-n…

The @BBCNews has now confirmed what some of us warned for years. A Russian diplomat ran a sabotage campaign on British soil: arson against the Prime Minister’s own home, and fake far-right and Islamist groups built to turn us against each other. This is not crime. It is how war is fought by powers who don’t want to expose their hand. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Prices are still rising too fast - and Labour still don’t understand why. Thanks to Labour’s choices the UK went into the latest energy crisis with the highest inflation in the G7. Rachel Reeves has increased the deficit by 75% and those lining up to replace Keir Starmer want to borrow even more. Reform promise the same irresponsible approach, announcing tens of billions in unfunded promises in their desperation to win the Makerfield by election. Only the @Conservatives have a leader with the backbone and strong team needed to build a stronger economy and get Britain working again.

Current pub topic: Clarkson 🚜 People say @JeremyClarkson bought a farm (on which he works hard) to avoid inheritance tax. But, so what if he did? What possible reason could anyone have to blame him for caring more about his family and legacy than the government? And, even if he did, he's raised more awareness for farming than the government or press ever would. So, unless you're in line with the many forms of governmental unfairness, what possible problem could you have with what he's done?

Uncomfortable truths. Some kids use YouTube because it teaches them better than their teacher. Some kids use YouTube to enrich and explore curriculum outside the one decided for them by schools. Some kids use YouTube to support their school work.

Another example of Keir Starmer’s Stasi Britain. This street flies England flags up and down every single World Cup. This year the council have told them they’re not allowed, in case “it makes other people who aren’t perhaps from England feel uncomfortable and not welcome.” If seeing an England flag makes you feel uncomfortable or unwelcome… then do one and go back home! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Wow. You obviously don’t understand the policy you pushed or you think we are stupid. Proving your age for alcohol is a shopkeeper glancing at a card. Proving it online means uploading your passport or your face to a tech platform that keeps it. Prove your age’ becomes ‘prove who you are.’ That IS the back door.
Kevin Hollinrake MP@kevinhollinrake

Back door to Digital ID? Some are asking if the under-16s social media ban is a backdoor to Digital ID? As far as Kemi and the Conservatives are concerned, absolutely not. We are entirely opposed to digital ID and want to see the ban implemented in a way that doesn’t force mandatory digital ID onto anyone. Proving your age for social media should be no more intrusive than it is for buying alcohol.

The deal includes major investments from French and Indian firms into Britain’s clean energy infrastructure and AI sector — backing high-skilled jobs in cities including Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham while helping deliver more stable and affordable energy. No. 10 say at a time of rising global instability, including conflict in Ukraine and the Middle East, the Prime Minister is using the summit to work with partners to reduce pressures on household bills, strengthen supply chains and unlock new opportunities for British workers.

Genuinely wondering if we can collectively sue Helen Whately for deliberate misinformation at this point. We are paying her £100k salary, her £39k a year rent and all her expenses for you to lie about disabled people daily. Enough. She needs ousting from office asap
Helen Whately MP@Helen_Whately

Over 4 million people are now claiming PIP. That’s doubled since the pandemic. Our current system gets the incentives wrong – handing out cash to stay home, whilst failing to give disabled people the help they need. Conservatives will change this and get Britain working again.

Why has your Rape Gang Inquiry covered up the mass rape of Muslim girls by ethnically white grooming gangs Rupert? We all matter! My name is Femi Mohammed and I am speaking up in response to the Rape Gang Inquiry Report as the only Pakistani Muslim Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and grooming gang survivor currently in the public domain, and to explain how as a participant, I have been manipulated and silenced by MP Rupert Lowe’s Rape Gang Inquiry. In August 2025, I was selected to take part in @RupertLowe10’s Rape Gang Inquiry by Sammy Woodhouse. She advised me not to disclose my CSE at the age of 17, during which I was trafficked for 18 years by an ethnically white grooming gang because she claimed it did not meet the required threshold. She and the Rape Gang Inquiry were interested in my recent cases, in which as a vulnerable adult, I was sexually assaulted and threats were made against my life by a Pakistani Conservative public figure. I shared details of my experiences and submitted my official evidence to the Rape Gang Inquiry over a six-month period, after which I was invited to attend the Inquiry hearings in February 2026, and my travel arrangements were made. However, shortly before the hearings, I was removed without explanation or justification. I believe the decision to exclude me came from the highest level of the Inquiry. In May 2026, I was informed that not only was I a child at the time of my trafficking and grooming, but that my case should also have been included in the Rape Gang Inquiry. Its exclusion was not a simple oversight; in my view, it concealed the reality that a Muslim child had been groomed and trafficked by white perpetrators. What is concerning is why the Rape Gang Inquiry covered up my child grooming and trafficking by white gangs and then suppressed my participation involving a member of the Conservative Party. While Rupert Lowe publicly claimed the inquiry would name and shame the authorities who failed victims, my cases gave him the perfect opportunity to do exactly that, yet my experience was sidelined to protect the very institutions they claimed they wanted to expose. Therefore, any narrative conveyed by the Rape Gang Inquiry that Muslim children have not been abused or that Muslim survivors have been included is misleading. As a Muslim victim, it is my experience that I was not only lied to, in order to cover up my Child Sexual Exploitation and cases against a Conservative Party member, but I believe I was then deplatformed to protect the very authorities they claim to want to expose. I am speaking up in the public interest because remaining silent risks leaving countless other Muslim victims and survivors trapped in a devastating cycle of abuse and danger. We cannot afford the cost of silence. The public, who financially contributed to this Inquiry, have an absolute right to know the truth of what I have been subjected to. I have documented my experience in MP Rupert Lowe’s Rape Gang Inquiry, included supporting evidence of my participation, published my story and my full statement is provided in the links below. x.com/femi_mohammed1… x.com/femi_mohammed1… x.com/femi_mohammed1…

B’H - 786  FEMI MOHAMMED - Why I Am Publishing My Story I have decided to publish my story not out of bravery but out of desperation because I no longer believe that remaining silent protects me. Instead, I believe silence places me at greater risk. As a Muslim survivor, I am conscious that many Muslim victims and survivors remain unheard. Too often, our experiences are overlooked, minimised, contained, or covered up, leaving survivors without a voice and preventing the full truth from being known. For many years, I have lived with the consequences of child sexual exploitation, grooming, trafficking, sexual violence, intimidation, and what I believe have been repeated failures while seeking justice. Throughout this time, I tried to work through the appropriate channels, placing my trust in individuals, organisations, and institutions that claimed they wanted to expose wrongdoing and support victims. Between August 2025 and January 2026, I was selected to participate in @RupertLowe10 ‘s Rape Gang Inquiry. I was advised not to disclose my Child Sexual Exploitation at the age of 17 where I was trafficked for 18 years. I shared details of my experiences and evidence relating to my recent cases involving a Conservative public figure. I was subsequently invited to attend the Inquiry hearings in February 2026, and my travel arrangements were made. However, shortly before the hearings, I was removed without explanation. I believe the decision to exclude me came from the highest level of the Inquiry. In May 2026, I also participated in two podcasts with @benhabib6. He encouraged me to speak openly about my experiences and he was provided with evidence that I had gathered over many years. After being assured that the second podcast would be released, it has not been published. As a result of these experiences, I believe that both MP Rupert Lowe's Rape Gang Inquiry and Ben Habib have contributed to the silencing of my voice as a survivor and have denied me the opportunity to have my story heard by the wider public. In my view, this has had the effect of shielding from public scrutiny the very institutions and authorities that they publicly claim should be held accountable. It is for this reason that I have chosen to tell my story myself. For me this is not about my story it is about a voice for Muslim women and girls. Anonymity does not help us when we have no representation, all it does is erase us from the equation. I hope I can be the one to open the door for women and girls like me, to hold it open until we are given an equal and fair voice, to expose what is happening to us, to be given the platforms to be heard, to seek justice, and to prevail. Below are my public statements addressing my experiences with @RupertLowe10 ‘s Rape Gang Inquiry and @benhabib6 I kindly urge everyone to read my full story thread below in pages 1 - 17 Thank you x.com/femi_mohammed1…
