@TurfCastPodcast We have good moments but never look like scoring. Every week we capitulate before half time. Teams know they can kill us in those final five mins. It’s predictable. Players aren’t good enough but a Premier League coach should be stopping the rot. Parker isn’t one.

If Parker & Burnley are to have any chance of staying up they must invest in a quality transitional forward. They have a reliable goalkeeper, good penalty box defenders, high quality fullbacks, physicality and technical quality in midfield. Just lack true top quality in attack.

Hoping to see more from Parker & Burnley today than a basic 5-4-1 low block. Should press from goal kicks, at least, otherwise Chelsea will sustain pressure with ease. Sunderland = blueprint. Man-to-man high, compact low. Also troubled Maresca’s man-to-man press with the ball.
