give me five minutes and i’ll have about 15 different ideas on how to organize it. but i’m for me to support a delegated assembly idea every single church would have the ability to have a delegate imo. the individuals who would probably lose out most are the men without calls to a congregation as i’d favor a tiered structure of congregation-presbytery-synod with each being able to send delegates.

i really do understand why individuals in the PCA do not want a delegated assembly for #pcaga. but dang that OC roster list does have some consistent names. 🙃

@JoshuaTorrey Some presbyteries would send delegates on a rotation while others would send the same men year after year. The new guys would be ineffective because they are overwhelmed. The professional delegates will artificially move the denomination a direction that is not representative.

@JoshuaTorrey My time in a previous denomination was that that certain segments of a denomination will learn to play the system better than others.

It was an honor to preach and participate in the particularization service for my friend Robby Plemmons and Crosspoint Presbyterian Church in Park City, UT. Never have I seen such perseverance as he has shown. 16 years of labor leading to this great celebration!
