@ojabowalola @NotionHQ @obsdmd I’d say they are similar. Obsidian has a great free option for personal use or inexpensive commercial option. You can host your data on your own devices and do syncing through iCloud Drive or pay Obsidian for their sync service.

Any other keepers of a work journal? I've been maintaining one in @notionhq for the past few months, and I've found it helpful, especially when switching between projects. I can just jump into the previous frame of mind.

@edmundamoye Yes. I imagine it’s a different segment of users that would use Baserow instead of Airtable. Lots of growing room for both companies.

@fannin_seth Depends on your definition of database. Just like there’s code behind nocode web/app builders, there are databases behind nocode databases.

Is there an easy way to take notes when listening to audio books other than pausing the book and typing the text in my notes app?

@nickverhaege Adalo + Xano Bubble + Xano Carrd + Outseta + Airtable Or want more open source, swap Supabase for Xano, Baserow for Airtable For exportable code, Adalo for Draftbit

Examples on how to combine NoCode, LowCode and code. 1. Front-end (Webflow) + Back-end (Flask, Node.js) 2. Front-end (Softr) + Back-end (cloud serverless functions) 3. Front-end (Softr) + front-end subdomain (custom) + back-end subdomain (Flask, Node.js) What else?

Kyleigh’s build in public thread ⬇️ is so cool. It’s like being hooked on a weekly tv series. I can’t wait to find out what happens next week and in 3 months. What will we learn!!? Let’s build some habits!

Here's a breakdown of the current #'s for the Harold product growth funnel: Seems like the biggest leverage points are: 1) Increasing top of funnel/awareness through marketing (I think my best bets are SEO and engineering as marketing) 2) Increasing Paid Conversion Rate

@BrianFOConnor F500 compared to startups, how often do you see strategy being iterated on, anything less than yearly?

Has anyone here managed to automate processes involving Linkedin very well? Outreach, reporting, content performance… all of these topics are somehow really difficult with LinkedIn vs. other social platforms.

@nocodechris @bubble I've heard this for a while now, and I don't think it really matters, at least for the mature platforms. They aren't going anywhere, and if they totally mess up, plenty of buyers happy to get them at a discount and then it might get interesting...

Can highly recommend looking into no-code platform risks, e.g. going bankrupted or getting acquired. Some platforms, like @bubble said they would open-source the company so startups/businesses will survive...

@kevinyien I found cross country flights good for this! Without those, trying to schedule better in morning instead of doing late at night.

The actual output / deliverable will likely come at a future time when you least expect it. But you need to put in the (active) time for that to happen.

Product managers often ask for more time for "strategic thinking". The reality I've come to is that no one will give you that time. You need to proactively set time aside (literally on your calendar). You need multi hour blocks that you won't cheat on.
