@AbdulMu079 @saundzo Wdym all the tools are there? He doesn't anticipate the game well which means the vast majority of his tackles are sliding = no calmness.
He isn't good in the air, so he is a weakness on set pieces.
And he is nervous with the ball.

Really want him to succeed with us and become a recognised T10/5 CB, but I have concerns that he’ll always be held back by the fact he wants to use his legs more than his arms in situations that don’t require it. Looks jittery in the box. Big, big summer for him. 🤲🏼

I think City are about to beat Arsenal. I'd normally be skeptical about a team playing so many attack minded players, but Arsenal's injuries have unfortunately taken out 3 of their best players, and more importantly best passers. Without them can see their tempo being too slow.

@Rym_MUFC And Lammens kicks the ball long at every opportunity. Makes much more sense to actually have someone to hit, then have Cunha and Mbuemo run in behind.
Atm it's often just wasted, as we try to pounce on winning the second ball, but it's often just dealt with first try.

@espenstrand @gerags99 But the best players know when to play the simple pass. Fernandes first thought everytime he gets the ball is can I play the killer pass. Then very occasionally he'll realise it's not on. Sky just did a segment. He has just 7 assists from open play. Quite important context.

Reg losing possession. Creative players lose the ball way more than others. Because they take more chances than others.
IF you thread a ball through a defence, we say, what an amazing pass. Thing is though, every time you make that pass, you miss 3. And if you dont try you dont create.

@gerags99 @espenstrand Not a great statistic in my opinion. It is a team sport. He's played almost every minute. If someone else had his minutes, maybe we'd not rush our attacks as much. We'll never know.

If you are playing against a team with a man down. I can't begin to imagine the relief you must feel when the other team forces it to one player to launch random lobbed passes into stupid areas.
