The injustice always struck me when it came to “Government support” there was always a limit. Be it job seeker allowance, old age pensions, or disability allowance. But when it came to “child support”, they will tax you as normal and force you to pay an allowance (tax free) to the OP. based on your gross income to “balance the households” because that wouldn’t turn children into a commodity at all.
