Yesterday, we held our annual Industry Breakfast where @sandrahills13 and Michael Urwin, shared highlights of our 2021 – 2022 Annual Report. We also conducted a panel discussion about ‘Customer Participation in Aged Care: why? how? who?’

@DarrenChesterMP for Gippsland, stopped by to meet with Maryann D'Costa, Bruce Webb and Helen Kemp from our Strategy and Home Care teams. He showed a genuine interest in learning more about how we look after our Gippsland communities and also spoke with members of our team.

Today, it was our pleasure to welcome @AlboMP @AnikaWells @petajan to Benetas St Paul's Terrace in Frankston. Our residents and employees enjoyed meeting them and sharing their stories. We are looking forward to working together to create a better life for older Australians.

Our residents and employees at the Lovell house recently celebrated National Pajama Day by wearing pajamas for the whole day. They enjoyed the screening of the classic movie Little Women! And yes, of course, there was popcorn, an essential while watching any movie!

Lola Russell, an acclaimed actress and valued member of our Benetas community, celebrated her 100th birthday yesterday. She received letters from Queen Elizabeth II, @AlboMP the Prime Minister of Australia and other eminent figures. Happy Birthday, Lola!

Residents at Benetas St Paul's Terrace are lucky enough to enjoy award-winning dining. We're like to congratulate our catering partner, Contemporary Catering, on their recent win of the site caterer award in the Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence Awards.

Corowa Court recently held a luncheon for the opportunity shop volunteers. Three of the volunteers received a 5-year, 10-year and 25-year service award respectively. We thank all our volunteers for their invaluable contribution to our residents and our community.

A new interactive technology has been installed in our respite centres at Kilby and Hurlingham to help our clients who live with cognitive challenges in having more positive interactions. And the best thing is it puts a smile on the face of everyone in the room!

Benetas welcomes Campbell (Cam) Richards who has been appointed as Benetas’ Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary. We would like to thank Neil Fawcett, Benetas’ outgoing CFO and Company Secretary, who has played an invaluable role in the past 14 years.
